If it were possible to give 10 stars out of 5, I would do it in a heartbeat. This place is one of the best in Bucharest when you want to drink a nice glass of wine, have a tasty bite to eat and just want feel right at ease if not at home.
We returned here twice, ignorant of the Romanian wines as we have always frequented the French, Italian and South African wine scene. Curious after hearing about Romania's excellent wines, we decided to check out this highly recommend wine bar. The recommendation did not let us down.
We were guided along the elaborate Romanian wine scene by super friendly staff who offered incredibly tasty wines from all over the price spectrum and regions. We got to taste different wines in advance in order to determine our pallet, they also opened fresh bottles without hesitation - even if we just wanted a taste. So definitely no feeling ripped off simply because you're an ignorant tourist. This is always is a plus in my book, when people care so much about making sure you have an amazing experience.
My tastebuds were definitely chanting glory songs every visit and upon leaving Bucharest I found myself regretting having to leave this wine bar behind. We would consider returning to Bucharest just for this wine bar. Seriously. Check it out, you won't be...
Read moreI recently visited a fantastic wine tasting place and had an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a great selection of wines.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their wines, and they took the time to explain each wine and its unique characteristics. They even offered suggestions for food pairings and shared interesting facts about the wine-making process.
What really stood out to me was the variety of wines available for tasting. There were options for every palate, from crisp whites to full-bodied reds, and everything in between. I also appreciated that the pours were generous enough to fully appreciate each wine.
The ambiance of the place was perfect for a wine tasting - cozy, relaxed, and elegant. I loved the rustic decor and the comfortable seating areas that allowed me to savor each sip.
Overall, I had an amazing time at this wine tasting place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great wine experience. The knowledgeable staff, excellent wine selection, and cozy ambiance make it a must-visit spot for wine...
Read moreWhen wanting a quick glass of wine at 9pm on a Thursday can change your life.... I went here last week and met the owner. He is Albanian and my friend I was with was as well. They spoke and I was excited to return. I followed them on Instagram and even told all of my local friends to come and check out the wine bar. So I returned tonight and for whatever reason they refused my service. There were open tables and it was early. I wrote them on Instagram asking why they didn't want to serve me. The owner ran out of the bar immediately and confronted me in the street. I thought that was a bit odd, but I just kept walking. Then another minute later another employee (I think it was a girl? No offense) started screaming at me for writing them on Instagram. I never said anything disrespectful so I said if it's that big of a deal I'll jist delete my comment. When I went to do that, I realized they had blocked me on Instagram. What a bizarre encounter. To the owner - you should be ashamed to be Albanian. I hope you grow up one day. Be careful if you visit here. A glass of wine isn't worth...
