When it comes to enjoying a delightful evening in the old town, this bar and restaurant combo is hard to beat. Situated at the top floor, the venue offers not only a great location but also an unbeatable atmosphere that makes it arguably the best skybar in the city.
Access to this gem is via a singular lift at street level. While this can sometimes cause slight delays, they are minor and hardly detract from the overall experience. Once you’re up, the wait is worth it. The bar area is spacious, with ample room for both sitting and standing. The decor, including the restrooms, is impressively stylish and adds to the venue's charm.
The bar boasts a number of smaller bars within it, ensuring that even on a bustling Saturday night, you never wait too long for a drink. The bartenders are not only quick but also exceptionally skilled, ready to whip up both menu and off-menu cocktails with ease. Their knowledge and creativity are sure to impress even the most discerning cocktail aficionados.
On the restaurant side, located on the top floor, the dining experience is just as impressive. The menu, while not extensive, caters well to various dietary preferences with a few vegan appetizers and a vegan burger as the main dish. The fries, though ordered separately, complement the meal perfectly. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the prime location and high quality of food and service.
The staff in both the bar and restaurant are friendly and knowledgeable. Orders are processed swiftly, ensuring you spend more time enjoying the ambiance and less time waiting. Given the popularity of this spot, it’s recommended to book a table ahead of time to secure your place in this sought-after venue.
All in all, whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for a full meal, this skybar delivers a top-notch experience that should...
Read moreI usually do not spend much time writing reviews, but feel that it is necessary to share my experience at Nomad Skybar.
My boyfriend and I are currently on holiday in Romania. He booked this place online, before our departure from the Netherlands, thinking it would be a nice place to spend our evening in Bucharest.
After arriving at the Nomad Skybar on 1 August we met our hostess. My boyfriend said we had a reservation. The hostess did not look into the list with reservations, looked at my boyfriend, took two menus, walked around the bar looking for the most hidden table and threw the menus on the table. Without a word, she walked back to her desk and welcomed another couple without a reservation, bringing them to a beautiful place in front of Nomad Skybar.
After my boyfriend called her and politely asked whether there was another place in front, she said ‘no’ and walked away. I found the hostess so rude that I looked at my boyfriend and said that I would not want to stay another minute.
Upon walking out the girl was checking her phone. I asked for her name, which I will not write down here, and told her that she was rude. Of course, I cannot look into her head and claim that she is racist. Let me just leave it at that she was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Oh! We walked to one of the many atmospheric restaurants outside and had a wonderful evening. Our stay in Romania thus far, leaving our experience at Nomad Skybar aside, has been amazing! From now on, I will write more reviews that will certainly be...

We've made a reservation 4 days before!!! only to tell us at arrival that we can stay at the table for only 2h or so... This "concept" of telling people how much time they can spend at a table only works because of their little space, central location and mostly false advertisement and false "high standards".
Ok, fine, so you're such a booked restaurant and your highest interest is to make as much money as possible, not letting people "gossip" with a half-empty glass for too long.
BUT when we arrived it was IMPOSSIBLE!!! for the 4 of us to sit on one of these TINY STUPID round tables, especially without disturbing the other people at the other TINY STUPID tables.
In the end they had NO other solution, not that they even cared too much, so we left, of course...
Man, just open the place and market it as a "discotheque" (club is too fancy for you), and let the others work as a proper restaurant.
Never setting foot there ever again. Restaurant and / or "discotheque" for...
