Amoom — Restaurant in Bucharest

We went a few times and everytime it was an experience that made us come back.The food is absolutely delicious, not only tasty but also with a wonderful plating and the right size of portions, not too small, not too big, but exactly how much you need.The overall ambiance is very pleasent with warm lights and good music, everything is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and at service, the food is cooked very fast so you don't wait for it too long, we enjoy everything about this restaurant.The cocktails are also extremely good.The parking is a bit of a problem and also if you go there at rush hour, there's a lot of traffic and noise since the terrace is right next to the boulevard, but...

I have heard many good things about the restaurant, however, I've experienced an unpleasant moment. I made a reservation more than 5 days ahead, it was confirmed, I have arrived at the restaurant and we were invited to our table. After a few minutes, we were told than in 1h the place will close because there was a private event. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication internally because the person who made the reservation did not mention anything, and neither did the person who invited us to our table. I have been here three times and I must say the quality and taste of their food is really good, but a bit overpriced overall.

But each time I go there, the drinks always upset and disappoint me. Once, I got a lemonade which was way too sour and diluted/watery to be even considered lemonade. In one of the photos I attached, I tried a pumpkin spice latte, which was horrible. The top of the latte was an overly sweet and caramel-y foam or merengue and the coffee was extremely bitter, creating a very unpleasant taste.
