Restaurantul "Pescarus", Lacul Herastrau, Bucuresti, 12.06.2016 Venita cu Vaporul "Swiss Crown" (Phoenix) într-o Excursie pe Dunare, cu escala la Bucuresti, Duminica 12.06.2016, am servit MASA de prânz, la Restaurantul "Pescarus", Locatia superba, arhicunoscuta, înfiintata în 1939, pe Malul Lacului Herastrau. Am fost serviti înauntru, din Pacate, unde a fost cald, si Nu pe Terasa, probabil si fiindca s-a dat si un mic Program... Facând Abstractie de Organizare si fara sa vreau sa critic "Servisul", adica pe oamenii "mici", am fost socata însa ca-n "Vânzoleala" aceea, mi s-a turnat un Pahar de vin rosu, desi eu as fi dorit unul alb, care mi-a fost refuzat, desi Paharelul era de Dimensiuni f. mici... Tocanita a fost buna, Salata de Varza însa Nu Ne-a placut. A se lua Reteta de la Sârbi si Croati!!!... Pâinea alba, und fel de Baghete mici, ne-a placut f. mult. Am platit însa 15 € (~ 70 RON) ptr. acest Meniu unei Prietene, un Pret exagerat ptr. Veniturile / Pensiile Localnicilor, si separat ptr. un Espresso, pe care l-a dorit Sotul, în Locul unei Cesti de Cafea filtru obisnuita... Nu pot da deci Nota cea mai mare ptr. Mâncare, si am ramas f. prost impresionata de atâta Z G Â R C E N I E !!!... Beim Ausflug nach Bukarest mit der "Swiss Crown" auf der Donau, wurde das Essen drinnen serviert, und nicht auf der schönen Terrasse, am Seeufer... Es war ziemlich warm und desorganisiert. Das Hauptgericht hat zwar gemundet, aber der Krautsalat hat nicht geschmeckt, war ungewürzt. Wir durften nur ein einziges, kleines Gläschen Wein trinken, weiß oder rot, zur Auswahl. Mir wurde im Durcheinander ein rotes Glas eingeschenkt, obwohl ich ein weißes gewünscht hatte..., welches mir dann verweigert wurde!!!???... Die gleiche Mahlzeit kostete uns 15 € (~ 70 RON) für eine Freundin, ein "Horrorpreis" für das Einkommen / die Renten der Einheimischen..., und auch ein Espresso anstelle der üblichen Tasse Kaffe musste extra bezahlt werden, also war alles ziemlich mikrig und sehr Kundenfeindlich... The Meal at the Excursion in Bucharest with the "Swiss Crown" on the Danube, was served inside and not on the Terrace, at the Lake shore. The Food Quality was not first Class and the Wine restricted to a single, very small Glas. We had the choice between a Glas of red or white Wine, but in the Mess, I got a red Wine, and was refused a very small Glas of a white one!!!???... We got very upset because of dezorganisation and mean handling...

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Forget about it, it has become a terrible place! Service at the lowest level. Nobody cleans the table, the used dishes have been standing for 30 minutes. We were served a frozen "Caterina Cake", which no one could eat. You had to open a bottle of water yourself and pour it yourself. Napkins are the cheapest, like in a street cafe. The toilet was so dirty that it is scary to imagine. Meanwhile, the cleaning lady had a loud argument with the administrator in front of me.But the worst thing is that it is terribly cold, since it is a summer covered terrace and is not heated by anything. It was only 7 degrees outside, it seems that the temperature was slightly higher in the restaurant as well. In the restaurant, the chairs are made of woven vines, and in the cold season, they are very cold. They could be replaced or put pillows, as well as put UFO heaters or buy a sufficient number of blankets. But the owners save on visitors, despite the high prices in the restaurant. Close it if you have a summer restaurant. In addition, it is not an atmospheric place at all. It was noisy and noisy. I would have happily left him in a heartbeat... but we were with friends and seeing off a friend in Toronto! I got very sick due to hypothermia. I have a cough, runny nose and a high temperature. Don't come here. There are better places in...

We recently had the pleasure of performing with our band at Restaurant Pescăruș, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by the staff and management. The venue is beautifully located by the lake, offering a picturesque setting that adds charm and elegance to any event.

The acoustics and technical setup were excellent, allowing us to deliver our performance in the best possible conditions. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. It’s always a joy to sing in a place where both the audience and the team appreciate live music and create a vibrant atmosphere.

As for the food – absolutely delicious! The menu is rich in fresh fish and seafood dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. Guests were clearly enjoying not just the ambiance, but also the culinary experience.

Restaurant Pescăruș is the perfect combination of fine dining, natural beauty, and a welcoming vibe for live events. We’re looking forward to coming back – whether to perform again or simply to enjoy a lovely evening by the water.
