Adagio is one of my favourite places in Bucharest, a cosy restaurant close to my work place. I've been coming to this place frequently for over 7 years, both for quick lunches with team mates and customers, but also for dinners in two or with close friends. The main advantage to this place is the great food they are serving consistently, I could never complain; one of the best pizza places in town for me, with brick oven baked Italian dough. Also fresh pasta and seafood. The seating area is not spacious, yet well organized to have 10-12 tables of different sizes prepared. Biggest group size I've brought there was 12 people. Toilets are a bit small, but very clean. You'll frequently hear English and Italian spoken at the tables, since this is a place favoured by foreigners too. We asked to pay by card and 10% tip was already included in the bill without notice or consultation from the staff. Maybe I would have wanted to tip more or maybe less, but I think that is the customer decision to make depending on how good the food and service are. If it is included from start, it should be stated somewhere.
So,microwaved food and the tip got me to modify the review from 5 to 2 stars. I would have given 1 star, but the food is still...

Upon arrival the plates weren't as visually appealing as imagined, and the taste was worth it for the price point, but definitely not anything I would rave about. The major thing holding the dishes back was the essential lack of seasoning, everything set in front of us needed additional seasoning. This is definitely better than items being over seasoned, but led to an overall bland and disappointing meal, though we still had our fill. I would recommend this place for a standard night out. Not particularly bad, but not particularly good either. Service was alright, with nothing especially positive or negative to note, and the atmosphere was...
