Maison 33 is a really beautiful place. It is in a beautiful, ralaxing, silent neighborhood if Bucharest. It is near the center of the city, opposite of the Ministry of Education. The rooms are very modern, clean, tidy and cheap. We paid 106€ euros for 3 nights, 2 people. The hostess is fully organised and she had everything pre-arranged. We never saw her, but the keys were is a safe with code, wifi included, tea, cafe, clean towels, everything perfect. You can just walk to the center, or use a lime scooter (we choose the second due to micromobity and easy jump on-off). There is a great cafe named We in the corner. Also, there is an underestimated, alternative open air neighborhood park named Food Hood. They serve food, alcohol and sweets, all in a canteen, sand and bedseats style, while playing jazz, rock n roll, blues music. When i will go to Bucharest again, i will certainly choose Maison 33...
Read moreThe apartament was modern and clean and in good location, but what’s unacceptable there was terrible smell inside as well as a lot of flies. Some time after we noticed that cockroaches appeared. The owner said there was desinfastation carried out outside the building, so that’s why they came inside. He knew there were insects and anyways he rented the apartments. We needed to check out earlier. After that we expected the return of the funds, he agreed to and said that he needs to cancel the reservation on Booking because of that. So now, with canceled reservation, we are not able to put a bad rating in it, waiting with no answer from the owner. This is a scam. Don’t trust the good reviews on Booking, avoide this place as...
Read moreThe room was very beautiful and clean. The accommodation is centrally located, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The old town is about a 15-minute walk away. However, there were a lot of small flies at the entrance and inside the bathroom, if you leave your window open.
What really bothered us though, was the behavior of the cleaner on our last day. She was literally standing right outside our window (since the room is on the ground floor), and when our eyes met, she pointed angrily at her watch. It was 11:00, and we still had half an hour left before check-out, as stated in the booking instructions. When we told her that check-out was until 11:30, she seemed annoyed and said something to us in Romanian that we...
