Vivo Fusion Food Bar Afi — Restaurant in Bucharest

I came to this place with really high expectations, because people were recommending the burgers from here and it was rated as one of the places with good burgers from Bucharest. We've had the Vivo burger and chicken burger. The vivo burger was terrible. The meat was overcooked, had no juices in it, had no taste and the vegetables were definitely not fresh. The fries look really good but are in fact probably the cheapest frozen fries. They have no taste. The chicken burger was ok.

However, I'm giving this place a 2 star review for the terrible service. We weren't allowed to sit on the terrace as everything was "reserved" even though all the time we sat there no one got any of the reserved tables...whatever.. we were told that they will let us know when someone leaves the terrace and we can move outside but they never did that, even though people were coming and leaving all the time.

So we sat inside, we ordered. After 10 mins the waitress ( a girl with short hair and tattoos ) came with the wrong beer and I told her that's not what I ordered so she changed it. After another 40-50 minutes of waiting she still didn't bring our burgers and when I asked her what's going on she pretended to not know what had happened. Left us waiting again for another 10 minutes and then she told us that there was a problem at the kitchen and that our order will be ready in 7 minutes. There was definitely no problem at the kitchen because everyone was coming, eating and leaving during that long waiting time. After 7 minutes indeed someone else came and brought us our order and apologized. She probably forgot to place the order. She didn't even own her mistake and lied to us blaming someone else.

After finishing we asked for the paycheck and the same guy came with a cheesecake on the house for messing up. I appreciated the gesture and that's why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. However the cheesecake slice was terrible. I like cheesecake but this one had a really bad taste and a very dusty texture.

I know she was probably new and didn't know the menu and how to handle stuff but lying and blaming someone else is not the answer. Will definitely stay away...

We arrived and asked for a table for four. We were quickly "welcomed" with a very arrogant attitude from the waitress rolling her eyes at us for not booking a table (it was monday evening). After telling us that all the tables for four were booked and we could sit at a booked table for no more than one hour and a half, we realized that there were 2 tables for two side by side and offered to sit there because they were not booked and the space between them wasn't that big so we could've still heard eachother. We were denied that request because it was outrageous for us to occupy more than one table. We tried to explain that it would had been like we came seperate but it was a waste of time. Because we had no chioce we sat at the booked table constantly checking our phones to see how long before the people who booked the table will arrive. After a while seeing that we were still angry at the situation another waiter told us that this is the policy of the restaurant : clients cannot spend more than an hour and a half inside the restaurant. So please keep that in mind when you eat here. I honestly don't know if that hour and a half starts when you enter the restaurant, when you order or when the food arrives so you might want to check in order not to get thrown out in the middle of your lunch/dinner. The stars are for the waiter who served us who was a true professional and for the food which...

Starting from 0 stars, this place receives 2 because of the fries. The fries were fantastic. Other than that, I would not get a burger here. The paddy was well cooked (medium as it should be) but other than that... nothing. It seemed like the cook took the meat and just threw it on the grill. No salt, pepper, anything. It was absolutely tasteless. The burger it self was bellow mediocre, the bun was way to big and the paddy was way too thin. The service was astoundingly mediocre, as i ordered first, the table behind us (even thou we were together) did not order, i tried to signal the waiter, after 5 minutes he saw me waving my hands around like crazy, and while he was coming towards me he got sidetracked by someone who had issues with their spoon (?). After he took care of that spoon he forgot about my colleagues... I ordered first, i got my order last, and he forgot to bring me my drink (even thou everybody else had theirs) Sorry, but i had higher expectations from them. The cost of it all is not worth the quality. And by quality i mean the fries which were the only good...
