Xclusive Restaurant in Bucharest's Old Town is a hidden gem that never fails to amaze me. As a frequent visitor, I can confidently say that this place is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. From its prime location to the delectable dishes, Xclusive offers an exceptional dining experience. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's elegant decor and cozy seating make it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with recommendations or any special dietary requirements. Xclusive's menu is a feast for the senses, featuring a wide array of mouthwatering dishes that cater to various palates. Whether you're a fan of traditional Romanian cuisine or craving international flavors, you'll find something to please your taste buds. The quality of ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish truly sets this place apart. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes such as the perfectly seasoned grilled lamb chops or the mouthwatering seafood paella. The flavors are well-balanced, and the presentation is simply stunning. Additionally, their vegetarian and vegan options are equally impressive, showcasing the chef's creativity and dedication to providing a diverse menu. The service at Xclusive is top-notch. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you through the selection process. They are prompt in taking orders and ensuring that you have a memorable dining experience. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value for your money. To complement your meal, Xclusive offers an extensive wine list and a variety of craft cocktails. The skilled bartenders are adept at creating unique concoctions that perfectly complement the flavors of the food. Don't hesitate to ask for their recommendations; they will happily suggest the best pairing options. One of the highlights of dining at Xclusive is its prime location in Bucharest's Old Town. After a satisfying meal, you can take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets, marvel at the historical architecture, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. In conclusion, Xclusive Restaurant in Bucharest's Old Town is a true culinary gem that never disappoints. With its fantastic location, welcoming ambiance, and a menu that caters to all tastes, this establishment deserves every bit of praise. Whether you're a local or a tourist, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Xclusive for an unforgettable dining experience.

A pleasant enough street grill. I am experienced enough by now to know that the best thing with restaurants is to always choose what they specialise in, but I chose an avocado salad, so I knew the risk ! Nevertheless, the drinks were efficiently and friendly served, and the street seating environment was comfortable and pleasant. Salads are always a good test of a cafe/restaurant - are they they just thrown together, or has somebody taken a bit of effort ? Well in this case it was thrown together. It had been pre-prepared as dry leaves and slices of avocado, because there was a brown piece of dry avocado stuck to the edge of the bowl, indicating it had actually been prepared a long time previously, which is off-putting really. Uninspired at best, though I livened it up with oil and seasoning myself, but a disappointment. As I say, to be fair, stick to the grill and crepes I imagine, but it still doesn't excuse just throwing a tired old salad at a paying customer really. I would never do that to my customers.

I would never ever, really never walk into a restaurant where they hire annoying “scouts” that walk next to you and tell you stories how great their food is and why you need to eat there. I really hate this. This here was special. They advertise with “BEST MICI IN TOWN”. As a Mici lover and hopefully I can call myself an “expert” I had to do this. Especially they say: If you don’t like it, you don’t need to pay it. I was like - ok... HERE is my review. The Mici were NOT the best. They weren’t bad, but they were not the best. This arrogant attitude is not my problem. The “penny market” non baked, super dry baguette gummy bread, that she made me pay for (!!!!!) was the biggest insult to the Romanian culture. I was just joking the the Mici were ok, but the bread was disgusting- she ignored it and took my money. No need to tip her with that attitude. Sorry - stay away from any restaurant with a scout. My opinion. And for the owner - remove the “best Mici in town” off your poster because you are NOT.

It was ok. Had the "Best Mici in Town" and it was good. Not great but not bad. However service is pretty bad. Firstly they have a person outside who will try to get you in. Personally, I'm fine with that. But after you sit, it may take a while to get noticed and a further while to order. Took me about 15-20 mins to get my order in. (PROTIP: Decide what you want based on the menu outside so you can order it as you're being seated). Food took slightly longer than I hoped (but not crazy long like some of the other reviews). And after that, I was hoping to have another beer and even a main course. However, none of the staff seemed at all interested. So I decided to just pay the bill. It came (with some delay) of course. I opted to pay by card and after paying, they asked for the tip. The receipt printed 3 options - Good (10%), V. Good (15%), Excellent (20%). I wanted to pay the tip by card, as I had in other places, but they only accept cash. As I didn't have Lei, I was told I could pay in euros or dollars. Thankfully my bill was low so I gave a few cents euro. I was ok with giving a small tip but I can see why others may not be. Wouldn't exactly say it's a tourist trap but yeah, they're pretty insistent on the tip. After i gave a tip in euros (about 8%), the waiter smirked at me and I didn't feel guilty anymore about not giving...

We visited this place with my boyfriend. A nice lady approached us we were so hungry and last night we saw it full so we thought it would be nice. We ordered Caesar's salad, penne carbonara, coca cola and a bottle of still water. After two minutes the waiter came with Pepsi and the still water. Then after 50 minutes our order came, they didn't have many people there, so I don't know why they were late. The food was a disaster, the carbonara was with linguine and the taste was awful. The salad was much worse the only thing that we could eat was the 4 slice of tomatoes. The waiter came after 10 minutes he saw our plates and he didn't even ask how was the food. He came 5 minutes later to get pay, he iformed us that the bill was 78 and we HAD to leave tips 10% or 20%. We told him that we will not give him a tip because we didn't eat the food, it was horrible. He also told us that in Romania they do that and we had to respect it. Of course we didn't gave him a tip and we left hungry. If you want to eat you better go somewhere else I suggest bazaar...
