Read moreIt was ok. Had the "Best Mici in Town" and it was good. Not great but not bad. However service is pretty bad. Firstly they have a person outside who will try to get you in. Personally, I'm fine with that. But after you sit, it may take a while to get noticed and a further while to order. Took me about 15-20 mins to get my order in. (PROTIP: Decide what you want based on the menu outside so you can order it as you're being seated). Food took slightly longer than I hoped (but not crazy long like some of the other reviews). And after that, I was hoping to have another beer and even a main course. However, none of the staff seemed at all interested. So I decided to just pay the bill. It came (with some delay) of course. I opted to pay by card and after paying, they asked for the tip. The receipt printed 3 options - Good (10%), V. Good (15%), Excellent (20%). I wanted to pay the tip by card, as I had in other places, but they only accept cash. As I didn't have Lei, I was told I could pay in euros or dollars. Thankfully my bill was low so I gave a few cents euro. I was ok with giving a small tip but I can see why others may not be. Wouldn't exactly say it's a tourist trap but yeah, they're pretty insistent on the tip. After i gave a tip in euros (about 8%), the waiter smirked at me and I didn't feel guilty anymore about not giving...
Read moreWe visited this place with my boyfriend. A nice lady approached us we were so hungry and last night we saw it full so we thought it would be nice. We ordered Caesar's salad, penne carbonara, coca cola and a bottle of still water. After two minutes the waiter came with Pepsi and the still water. Then after 50 minutes our order came, they didn't have many people there, so I don't know why they were late. The food was a disaster, the carbonara was with linguine and the taste was awful. The salad was much worse the only thing that we could eat was the 4 slice of tomatoes. The waiter came after 10 minutes he saw our plates and he didn't even ask how was the food. He came 5 minutes later to get pay, he iformed us that the bill was 78 and we HAD to leave tips 10% or 20%. We told him that we will not give him a tip because we didn't eat the food, it was horrible. He also told us that in Romania they do that and we had to respect it. Of course we didn't gave him a tip and we left hungry. If you want to eat you better go somewhere else I suggest bazaar...
