The fact that this restaurant is located in a kitschy area doesn’t bother me—what really ruined the experience was the complete lack of hospitality. They practically begged us from the street to come in, and we were a group of 11 people including kids, so we gave it a chance.

Only one other table was occupied on the terrace, but the music was blasting so loud that the server couldn’t even hear us properly. When I politely asked to lower the volume, she said she couldn't because “that’s how it is in the Old Town.” Strange logic for a place that’s supposed to offer a pleasant dining experience.

She took notes on how spicy we wanted our doners—some mild, some hot—but forgot which was which when serving them. None of them were actually spicy, even the ones we requested to be. Apparently, if you want extra spice, you need to pay extra. The price is double that of a normal shaorma, and honestly, the addition of goat cheese didn’t make sense taste-wise.

All in all, zero hospitality and a clear focus on making money over offering a decent customer experience....

The food was really good. The reviews that talk about the service being somewhat unfriendly are pretty accurate. For whatever reason I find that not uncommon in Bucharest, so I don't know that I would fault this place in particular. That being said, other than the person behind the food counter that took my ticket with the order on it, everyone else was perfectly fine. Most importantly, the food was delicious. You pay first at the little booth near where you enter and then hand over the little ticket at the counter where the fellow gave me just a bad look because I didn't know if you needed to set it down there or wait till they acknowledge you and hand it to them and wait. It was a little bit busy when I went about 8:00 p.m. but I really didn't have to wait long at all for...

i tried their vegan option (falafel🌯), and dare i say, it tasted almost like chicken😆 i thought they messed up my order. on a more serious note, i liked their flatbread (lipie), i got the pink one died with root beet, and it was so soft and tasty, not your ordinary store bought lebanese wrap. well assembled, with a handful of ingredients to keep it simple, not drenched in sauces, it was all in all a very good experience. their vegan garlic sauce was super tasty, and we also liked the fried potatoes, which were round cut. on the down side, their site is not working for now (at least from the 2 devices from which i tried), i went there personally for my order (it was on my route). the waiting time was a bit long (15 min vs the 10 min advertised on the board) even tho there...

Absolutely amazing kebab plates, a while new level in this style that I've never seen before. They bake their own pita bread which is to die for. There's a plain, a charcoal and a beetroot version of the bread and each command a different set of ingredients when made to a sandwich and there is a corresponding plate version available only at an extra 10-15 lei. The pink plate comes with black rice, grilled and fresh vegetables and blue cheese. The ingredients reminded me to those in a good restaurant rather than those in a kebab place. Service is ok, you're right on a tourist place so you can observe the party goers while you devour your food. I ate here three days in a row. Do visit it. 🙂

Now this is a must visit place if you are a foodie. From the very start me and my fiancée were welcomed by Alex, who not only gave us a very warm welcome but also gave us a bit of history about the restaurant. The best kebab I have ever eaten in my life, the meat was full of flavour, the salad was fresh and the charcoal pitta bread was just insane. It's left me wanting to visit Bucharest just for a visit to this restaurant again. Why aren't kebabs in the UK as good as the kebab here. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Romania. Thank you.

Love the vibe of this place. But the order process and food was a bit disappointing. We got the traditional Döner. The bread was undercooked and not sliced in the middle making it fall apart. The meat was piled on the bottom and you had to eat more than 1/2 -all salad- to get to the meat. I got the lamb and it seemed to have a weird BBQ flavor. Not something I would come back for. The seating with bar on the other side was really neat. The bartender was awesome and super friendly. The whole bar was funky and fun and great music.
