Wasn’t too impressed with the service. I along with my girlfriend and a friend went in after a theatre performance around the corner. We had some food - the waffles were exactly what I ordered but I wasn’t impressed entirely by them. It just so happened that at midnight was my birthday - November 28. My girlfriend enquired on the off chance about the usual birthday discount. The manager came over and congratulated me. Then went through the rules of getting a discount. He asked for a passport, which was in the Kazakh embassy awaiting confirmation for a visa. My girlfriend showed a copy of my old passport. My own phone had died and the charger we rented from the restaurant was no working so I couldn’t charge my phone to show him the scan of the new one on mine. Nevertheless, the manager said he couldn’t accept anything less than a passport. He said it was company policy and that it stopped people from scamming the restaurant. I found it odd, considering the decision stopped with him, and there was little chance we’d really be that cheap to lie to get a discount. The manager simply clapped his hands and said sorry and walked off. It’s ok, rules are rules, but then the staff didn’t even pay attention to our table for the rest of the night, and even ignored us on our way out. I found the situation quite strange and abut unfriendly, my girlfriend found it strange that they didn’t even stretch to bring out a chocolate or some complimentary token to say ‘look, sorry we can’t do the usual discount without the passport, but here’s something’, considering we spent close to 8,000 rubles to eat and drink, and we’re definitely past the point of being able to scan the restaurant. It was all a bit weird, at the risk of sounding entitled and it kind of out a bit of a dampener on an otherwise...
Read moreThe experience here would've been nice, but it got utterly ruined by a rude waiter who not only mixed up the order and brought what we requested almost 30 minutes later (with everything being cold at this point, obviously). As if that wasn't enough, he got really toxic when my friend was leaving a written complaint, calling her all sorts of names and claiming that she was in the wrong, later even swearing when we were leaving. I hate to leave negative reviews of any kind, but I just had to this time. Please, consider firing this Dimitri fellow; your place is seriously nice and has a lot of potential we haven't experienced yet, but I can't rate it higher when dinner gets ruined like that... I hope you'll see my message -- and I hope to experience what you have to offer fully...
Read moreProbably the best chain restaurant in Moscow. The food is slays well presented and tasty, but the bushes lunches have taken a little shop on quality lately, most likely due to cost restraints introduced by Covid. However they're still good value.
They have an extensive beer menu, but if you're choosing from the bottled section, have a second choice ready, as it can be hit and miss as to what they have in stock lately.
There are three different dining areas, plus the terrace in the summer at this venue. I prefer the one with the beer taps and the kitchen behind, but any are...
