This was my 4th visit to this restarant. Standard of the service staff is never consistent. I had a pleasant experience on my last visit but today was less than satisfactory. At least 4 waitresses were standing at the door and the 1st one turned her head away when she saw me walking in. The rest are equally grouchy (no smile-thought Arbat Street is a place to showcase Russian hospitality with so many restaurants around). I was also disappointed with the food that was served today. The raf coffee was way too sweet. The chicken soup and carbonara looked and tasted less than ordinary (I ate better ones at other Russian cafes) although the pear and parma ham salad tasted the same as last time (phew!). The panna cotta was in the same class as the chicken soup-watery. But we had to wait for 15 minutes just to place an order. 10 minutes later they bring us pizza, and no one cared that soup should be the first. Also they don't bring us spoons and forks, so we got our pizza and no tools to eat it:-) Also we met 2 flies that roaming around our table and tried to sit on our food.
