To a person unfamiliar with Moscow cultural and overall context of 80s and 90s, it will look like a colourful mess on the wall. Moreover, it's not enough to read Russian, or even to understand it. To truly appreciate it, you need to understand what those words meant back then to people who lived back then. Othwise, it's just a colourful graffiti mess on the wall. It's not about Tsoy as much, it's what he and his songs symbolised back then.

Read moreAs a person who likes songs of the tsoy and as a person who likes arbat st. Telling you that I don't mind to remove that wall. We like tsoy and there is nothing bad to remove this wall. There is more then enough monuments in the russia and even Kazakhstan to this artist. Wall looks bad and sorry but ugly on this Street. Also they paint new details and symbols. So I can say original view changed so many times. Hope you will understand my opinion even if you wouldn't agree....

Quite a happening place and it is always vibrant and colorful.. From street musicians to street artists you will find many of them.The place is touristy. You can easily spot Medical stores, ATMs and daily-need superstores. There are souvenirs shops, apparel stores, cafes, and bars. It is a perfect place to spend an evening. You will have to walk a lot to explore every corner of it. This place should not be skipped during your visit to Moscow.
