Myasnaya Karta — Restaurant in Khamovniki District

As someone who primarily lives in America coming to this restaurant, if was quite amusing. The service was quick and very polite, and they have menus in both Russian and English, and unlike some places where it has an outdated English menu that's separate, this one is right on the main menu.

I had the pulled pork burger and the apple pie with an accompanying Mojito. The burger was pretty good and not spicy at all, thought the fusion of American and Russian cooking was interesting as it had marinated red cabbage. It was quite good though and the portion was definitely Russian sized rather than the oversized American ones.

The pie was light and wide but thin, and quite good as well. The mojito was easy on the alcohol and sugar and a joy to have.

Overall a great easy and pleasant experience, with of course Russian influences in an American styled restauraunt.

The Pulled Pork Tacos Are Amazing! It took me a few visits to try these but they're all I get now, well, the tacos and the fries with cheese dip. The cheese dip is also quite good. Everything is a bit pricy, just like most Moscow eateries, especially ones that cater to foreign foods. As someone who has grown up eating at American barbeque joints, this is one of the most authentic ones I have experienced outside the US. The sauce leaves a little to be desired but the rest of the food is so good I don't even need the sauce. US-like bar. Nice beer served in plain glasses. Even better food to compliment beer. Service quality is so-so, totally enraged me with 10% extra charge for a table of 10 persons or more. This is rather pricey place, so I don't expect extra charges! Nice interior. Be careful to avoid sitting near large ovens in the summer. Demand another table. All in all it's an outstanding beer restaurant. I recommend visiting it. I hope the owners read this and improve in a few areas to make the place...
