Restaurant Review: Seafood Ibn Hamido
⭐⭐⭐⭐(4.5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seafood Ibn Hamido, and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was truly captivating—tastefully decorated with eye-catching elements that made the space feel warm and inviting. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a plus in my book!
The service was impressively quick, allowing us to dive into the culinary delights without unnecessary delays. And oh, the food! I started off with the seafood soup, which was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had. Bursting with a rich blend of flavors, it featured a delightful mix of shrimp, oysters, and crab that made every spoonful a delight.
Next up were the fried shrimp, which were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside. Following that, I ordered the fried fish (hamour), and it was simply outstanding in taste. Their baked fish was another highlight of the meal; it was incredibly delicious, showcasing the freshness of the fish without overwhelming spices, allowing the natural flavors to shine.
A special mention must go to their cold mayo, which paired beautifully with the seafood. It was the perfect complement to the dishes and rounded out the meal nicely.
Overall, Seafood Ibn Hamido exceeded my expectations with its amazing environment, quick service, and stellar seafood offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch seafood experience! I can’t wait to return! Fish lovers must try...
Read more: Spotted another dampa-style seafood restaurant located at Prince Sultan Abdulaziz road, Olaya just beside Buds road diner. It was a fish and seafood restaurant with an Egyptian cuisine demonstrated a touch of ingenuity taste and creativity. The place was spacious enough to cater their guests having its upper floors. The ambiance was quite instagrammable for having so much spot to take photos. The food was excellent and I love the mixed of egyptian and basmati rice in their seafood platter. We ordered the grouper feast seafood platter which is good for 3-4 persons cost for 160sr. The fried shrimps was my favorite and the mussels itself was flavorful. The fried fish was a bit overcooked and bland but it’s crispness was something to compliment. By the way, they served 4 different kinds of seafood platter to choose from; grouper feast, emperor feast, seabass feast and the fillet feast. They also offered different pasta, salad, soup, dessert and drinks in the menu which we will try next visit. 😉 Prices are reasonable compared to other seafood restaurants i tried, this was much cheaper and affordable. The servers are quite good and attentive. I highly recommended this place for all seafood lovers to try especially this...
