I recently had the privilege of dining at this exceptional restaurant, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the service was truly welcoming.
The highlight of my visit was, unquestionably, the food. In terms of presentation, it was a visual masterpiece, with meticulous attention to detail. I indulged in the beef tartare, which proved to be an absolute delight. The beef was incredibly fresh, finely chopped, and the accompanying sauce perfectly complemented it, enhancing the overall flavor in an exquisitely delicious manner.
The roasted salmon was another standout dish, appearing both juicy and vibrant, with a sauce that harmonized all components beautifully. The grilled seabass was equally impressive; the seabass fillet was tender with a delightfully crispy skin, and the grilled cherry tomatoes imparted a delightful smoky flavor.
We also savored a risotto with mushrooms— a classic dish featuring remarkably flavorful white mushrooms that my companion adored. The Cobb salad was refreshing, its sauce expertly blended with fresh vegetables, lettuce, avocado, and tender chicken.
Special commendations to the bartender for crafting a refreshing cocktail with cherry accents. It was perfectly balanced, neither too sweet nor too sour, with a subtle hint of cherry seed— a delightful combination.
For dessert, we indulged in the restaurant's famous pink pancake, soft and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The raspberries atop added an ideal touch of tartness. To complement our desserts, we ordered a decaf cappuccino, which was of exceptional quality. As someone who is particularly discerning about coffee, I found it genuinely enjoyable.
Lastly, my heartfelt appreciation goes to Habib, who assisted with our orders, recommended dishes, and ensured that everything was flawless throughout our dining experience.
I wish A.O.K continued success and many more patrons as satisfied as...

Dining at AOK was an absolute pleasure. The shakshuka was bursting with flavor, with perfectly balanced spices and a rich tomato base. The poached eggs were simple yet satisfying, served with soft, fresh bread. The rumbled salmon was a standout dish—tender salmon paired beautifully with creamy scrambled eggs. The rumbled truffle added a touch of luxury with its earthy, refined flavors.
The avocado on toast was light and refreshing, with ripe avocado layered on crunchy toast. For something sweeter, the brulee French toast was a decadent treat with its caramelized crust and rich, creamy texture. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and among the best I’ve had, topped with just the right amount of sweetness. The red forest, while unique and flavorful, was a bit sweeter than I expected but still enjoyable.
The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning and incredibly relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a premium meal. The service was outstanding, and I must commend Othman and Adel for their warm and attentive hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable.
While the experience inside was fantastic, I did face some difficulty reaching the restaurant, likely due to ongoing construction in the area. It’s something to keep in mind, but I’m sure it’s a temporary issue.
Overall, AOK is a gem. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a serene atmosphere makes it a place...
Read moreWe visited AOK Kitchen KAFD recently and had a mixed experience.
The service was excellent — staff were very attentive and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere is also pleasant, and they even gave cookies to the children, which is a thoughtful touch. Upon entering there are 3 different welcome drinks, complimentary but nobody told us about it. We had to ask if we can have some.
However, the food itself was just average and the prices are extremely excessive. For example, fries cost 41 SAR for a very tiny bucket, which feels unreasonable even by Riyadh standards. To make matters worse, when we asked for ketchup, the only option they had was beetroot ketchup — no regular ketchup, which is quite disappointing.
Another major issue is that despite creating a space for children, there is no kids’ menu. It feels contradictory to consider families but not adapt the menu for them.
Overall: great service, but overpriced food and some odd choices, make it hard to justify returning. Gluten free pancakes were great, but again, not adapted to kids’ taste. Complimentary valet was also...
