Very disappointing experience We went there and waited to be seated, waited for order to be taken, waited to receive our meal and waited to get our checks. The restaurant was half full at best. They wanted the illusion that they are busy, maybe. The host did not even introduce us to the waiter. The waiter took our order after we complained to the management. The order came lukewarm at best. It was mediocre at best because you would expect them to provide real silverware and glasses. However, you are paying good money to be handed a prepackaged plastic utensils and a plastic cup. After we finished, we decided to wait for them to come to us with the check. After more than an hour, we had to ask for the check. The place is poorly managed. The Syrians there are just pieces of furniture. Do not even talk to them because they will speak to the wall and avoid eye contact.
Also, the portions might be small or I might got hungry from waiting. I left the place hungry, and I am a slim person who...
Read moreWay overrated. Seriously what is actually so special about this place?
I think the sauce might be only good for some people. I personally did not enjoy the sauce. It was okay but it had a bit of tang which I'm not a fan of. A little bit like Worcester sauce flavour.
The first batch of steak I had was warm and the second time it was hot as how it should have been.
It definitely was not enough for me. I was left still feeling hungry.
The fries honestly looked and tasted like something you make at home using those frozen fries. I've had better at home than there. Plus they didn't look fresh.
So if the food isn't so great, surely the service has to be exceptional right?
Nah, very average service with a bit of arrogance.
Poor experience and overpriced for what it is.
I don't mind paying but I don't want to be ripped off and truth to be told I...
Read moreThere is only a set menu consisting of salad, steak, and fries. The salad consists of a small portion of leaves with a simple dressing. The stake came in a desert plate covered with a sauce, that seemed to be the specialty of the house that I found it bitter and on the tasteless side. It was covering the entire stake so you could see that there was only a (small) portion of the stake. On top of everything, it was covered with frozen fries that were cooked sometime before the meal. The meat was tender, though.
This seems to me like a fast-food place where they precook the stakes and fries and then serve them to people. The place resembles an old French restaurant. For some reason, it was more prominent in the old (and dusty) atmosphere.
Disappointed, I did not stay for desserts which looked not...
