L'Elysée Dakar — Restaurant in Dakar

L’Elysée is a very sad case of an amassing coffee shop, but terrible service. All the waitresses failed to smile and be friendly as well as when they brought you your order they would almost drop it in the middle of the table. The careless attitude given by the majority of the staff ruined the whole shop’s atmosphere. While we were waiting for 5 minutes for 3 people to bring us our receipt I noticed other clients come in, sit down and patiently begin to wait. There were customers who ended up getting up and leaving because the staff failed to even bring them their menu’s due to being on their phones or chatting and not paying attention. Bad service. I was there yesterday to get some work done on my laptop while sipping a cup of coffee. I arrived there at 5:30 pm , later when i wanted to pay my order, the lady in the counter spoke to me in a disrespectful way telling me that I've been inside the coffeeshop since 3pm and I only ordered a cup of coffee .Not only she was disrespectful but she also lied about me being there for a longer time.
