NEBOJŠA Restaurant (park entrance) — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Without a doubt, this was our best meal in Serbia. What good food is to me: the freshest local ingredients prepared with love and skill and presented in perfect, glorious simplicity. No element here could have been improved upon.

My husband had the roasted lamb and potatoes. I have traveled in many countries where lamb is a specialty, but Nebojša sets a new standard. The simple little potatoes were somehow amazing. Perfection!

I wasn't as hungry and ordered the humble pljeskavica, essentially a hamburger steak. This unassuming meal took me to the moon and back. I will never think of hamburger steak the same way again. Mind blown, wow!

If you visit Belgrade, please give yourself time to make it here at least once. The service was perfect and equal to the quality of the meal. The ambience enhanced the meal as the music was just right and the decor comfortable and inviting. Mediocre food served by a rude an ignorant waiter. To be honest had some nice food before and came back today. But... ossobuco that was probably made a few days ago and heated in the oven because it was dry and not tender. Inside the bone some small piece of narrow, just so you couldnt say it wasnt there. Side dish some risotto which was the only thing done right. Other dish, Beef cheeks, very tender and looked great but taste of the meat was killed during the preparation for some reason and tasted like beer, although if I am correct in the menu was written it is prepare with red wine. Side dish mashed potatoes, warm, tasteless. And the ignorance of the waiter about complain is simply not even worth...

They had a menu of about 6 dishes and waiter told us they dont have ingredients for 2 of them, also with very short cocktail list and once again, they told us they couldn’t make any of them but Aperol spritz. On top of that the restaurant was completely empty and the waiter was shy and silent which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable . I ordered a beer and another waiter told my girlfriend he can make a custom cocktail with each ingredient listed separately.
