Restoran Grmeč — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

I came here with my family as it seemed a nice place for local food in neighbourhood. Two waiters arranged a table for 6 persons. Everything was alright until we completed our order.

Although we requested and reminded plates to share starters, nothing came. We ordered small beers, 'the waiter' confirmed but brought big-size beers. I told him to change or cancel one of the beers but the said "no no" in an unpleasant way and did not take action.

"The waiter" did not show any interest during the meal while smiling and chatting with rest of the tables. In the bill, beers were charged as big-size.

Although meat-balls and mixed meat plate was of good taste, we felt as enemies in an unwanted zone because one of the waiters (with less hair), made us feel so. Two tables just came and left without ordering because of his behaviours. But he was definitely nice to all local customers, laughing, chatting and smiling.

If you do not want tourists in your restaurant, please put a label outside your door, such as "no tourists...

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We were passing by and decided to have some coffee and desert in this place. At the very beginning, while we were at the entrance, they didnt even welcomed us even tough they clearly saw us coming in. After we sat down, we politely asked if we can have some desert. The waiter just told that the kitchen closed. 15-20 minutes passed, some other guests came in and they started to serve some food to them. They had a complete dinner which was happening around 10pm.

When we decided to leave, i had a very hard time while calling the waiter to ask for the check. They were acting like they are trying to avoid eye contact. When i got the bill, i politely asked why did you serve food to that table even tough you told me that the kitchen was closed. The guy acted like he didnt understand me and left the table, he was complaining as well in his language. Overall experience was horrible. It is 2025 and we are still experiencing racist...

Very nice food, but the person who served us ( for the last few times) the most unprofessional, arrogant I ever. I’v been many places around the world and it’s the first time the servant after his own mistake talking rude and then started to scream. Do he is taking some energy doppins?! Never care about the client only about the tips. The previous time took a plate from my friend with French fries left after my friend told he is still into his face gets too scorn If you are lucky enough for getting served by another person not that old guy maybe you will have better experience Well we skip desert and more drinks the previous time because he was just too busy with the other table...
