This review about restaurant. Hotel is good.

Переоцененное место. Ужасный и грубый персонал. Еда пресная и меркнет на фоне ужасного отношения.

On the first day of our vacation, on the recommendation of close friends, we headed to you for dinner. However, they were faced with the fact that the hostess, almost immediately, rudely informed that there were no free tables. Although visually it looked different, there were free tables. We did not get upset and went to a nearby Italian restaurant. On the way back after dinner, got together for about an hour - thirty hours, we decided to try our luck, and went in to reserve a table. Those tables that were free on the first visit remained free. We left a wish regarding the table, that we would like to sit closer to the sea, to which the hostess, raising his voice, said that we do not have the right to choose. We did not pay attention to these little things. The next day, in high spirits, we came for dinner. The hostess was not there and we were met by a waiter (adult woman). Having seen several free tables to the right of the veranda, I reiterated my wish that I would like to sit by the ocean, to which she said that I have no right to choose, justifying that ALL tables are reserved for hotel guests and remaining if such there will be given to guests from outside. I did not object and sat down at the indicated table. Then I asked for access to wi-fi. And again, in a rude manner, I heard that Wi-Fi is only for hotel guests, which is permissible. After that, I asked about the charger, to which I again received a rude answer, that I want too much. One of the dishes (a trio of fish) that I ordered included sauces, which the waiter warned about. I asked to bring the sauces separately, because I want to feel the clean taste of the fish, to which the waiter again was indignantly surprised at how three sauce-boats fit on a plate and who eats fish like that. When this dish was delivered to me, by that time, I was already using the cutlery that was on the table, as I tried the dish from my companion. The waiter made a rude remark that it was unacceptable to use more than two dining sets during dinner. I asked what is critical in that I use the third. To which he received an answer again in a rude manner, that I am strange and so is not accepted. We finished our dinner. The waiter offered desserts, to which I replied that she ruined our evening and I want to leave this place as soon as possible. At this moment, the hostess came up (introducing himself as a manager) and began to report me in a rude manner and in a raised tone on the topic of etiquette and other things. Also, the hostess refused to give the name of the waiter, saying that this does not concern me, again, in a rude manner. I left in extremely disgusting feelings and complete misunderstanding. Why it happened?! This is awful behavior... Don’t waste your time for so...

To every employee on Le Nautique, hands down to you as you did an absolute fantastic job when we felt helpless and had none to reach out to within the island. We had a situation with our pre booked 5 star resort in La Digue where we had to leave the hotel (as honeymooners) as we were appalled by the horrible service and low hygiene standards. We went on foot to Le Natique to seek for room availability, unfortunately there was not any for the days we needed to stay however they went above and beyond to help us. They looked in an online booking platform for available accomodation around, they used their own buggy to take us in 3 different self catering apartments, they spoke with the managers explaining we were in urgent need of a roof above our head. We managed to settle in one of them and spend the rest of our honeymoon days there feeling calmed and happy. We would not have made it without Mike's help and the 2 lovely ladies at the reception. As a thank you for taking us to the new accomodation and back to our hotel to pack our bags even though we were not even guests on their hotel, we decided to dine in their restaurant a few days after. We spoke with the chef Mike whose cooking skills were amazing, food was of high quality and was worth the high price we paid, it was the least we could do after all they have done for us. This is what I call exceptional human service - not customer service, as we were not their customers YET they did everything possible so as we feel safe and have a good time in Seychelles. If only every business owner was so ethical and attentive as you people the hospitality sector would constantly thrive! Thank you so much from the bottom of our...

After reading all the wonderful reviews of this place, I decided to go there and see for myself this incredible spot to watch the sunset. Rarely have I been more disappointed first by the way I was welcomed to the place and second by the food. When I arrived it was really early and I was the only customer. I asked for a table closest to the seashore to be able to fully appreciate the colors of the sunset. I was told very dryly that they were reserved (the people showed up much later and after sunset) and given a table that I did not like but accepted anyway (my first mistake). I then asked the advice of the waitress to chose between the red snapper filet of the trio of fish. She recommended the trio that was :

  1. Extremely small for the price (the description of the fish laying on a bed of wakame salad was misleading)
  2. Very badly cooked - way too dry
  3. Accompanied by a cider that again the waitress recommended but was much too sweet and completely did not go with the fish (I had asked if the cider was dry or sweet and she had assured me that is was dry and great - plus I wanted to see the bottle first being unfamiliar with it but she brought it already opened so I could not make the decision to have something else even if I wanted to...). My second mistake. The only time when she was nice to me is when I asked for the bill and she brought it. Only then did she start to warm up and wish me a good evening. Overall completely disappointed by this place. I would not...

Had dinner at La Dique on our last night here. What a beautiful spot right on the water. We started with a cocktail at the bar which was yummy! Moving to the restaurant overlooking the ocean was just magical. I had the fish cakes and my husband had the tuna tartare. Fish cakes were lovely, crisp albeit a tough on the smaller side. I had a bites of the tuna tartare and it was really well balanced and delicious. For mains I had the XO seafood pasta with black squid ink. I was nervous it might be too hot, but it didn’t blow my head off at all although I did find it a tad sweet. The fish was super fresh though. My husband ordered the octopus curry. He enjoyed it, but i tried it and i found the coconut milk overpowering. Desserts were creme brûlée, which was classic! Loved the addition of the blackberries on the side? I had the coconut ice cream which tasted just like the one I had at Fish Tank a few nights earlier and it was at least 50SCR cheaper at Nautique. Our waitress Jenny was very lovely and attentive. Met the general manager earlier who is a fellow South African too and she was very welcoming. Overall, this was our favourite dining experience on La Dique. Price reflected the quality and didn’t feel like a rip off like at Fish Tank. The food pics are a bit dim cos of the lighting. But definitely recommend if you’re on the island and you don’t need to be a hotel guest to dine there

We stayed at La Nautique from July 24–27, and already regret not spending more time there. From the very first moment, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuinely kind and welcoming team. The rooms are simply stunning — spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable (shout out to the cleaning staff, they always did a perfect job). Check-in was informative and helpful, with all the best recommendations for things to do around the island. We rented bikes directly from the hotel and explored La Digue at our own pace. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the pool area is peaceful and inviting. The location is perfect for discovering the island’s main attractions — amazing beaches and scenic spots are all within easy reach. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel and loved every meal — the food was absolutely delicious. A very special thank you to Jenny, who looked after us with such kindness and gave us fantastic suggestions for local places to visit, and to Vinod, who made the most flavourful cocktails we’ve had in a long time! We had a truly unforgettable stay, and we’ll definitely come back for another amazing vacation. Highly recommended!

Overall a good experience in this nice resort of la Digue. For the positif : - Proximity : the Hotel is very well placed on the Main Street of the island. We were really close to all the major facilities of the island. - Rooms : the rooms were spacious and really clean ! All of the resort is really clean too. - Included Buggy service waiting for us at the ferry and taking us straight to the Hotel - The bikes rental service is really helpful on the island, and costs only 100 roupies à day per bike. - The explanation were spot on for the whole island. We got explained every main beach and spots the day we arrived, which was great to plan for our stay. The less positif : - breakfast was just ok. We could expect slightly better for the price tag. Choices are pretty limited and fruits were not that fresh every day. - Hotel’s staff was sometimes a bit unfriendly or giving not complete information about price tags for taxi for exemple. Overall, experience was good even though there was some bad points. We would come back to the resort and I recommend it !
