Went to order take away today at around 5.15pm as usual the cashier counter always no people around (as per my photo) and when this staff called Ah Cui attended to me after waiting for sometimes, I placed my order with her. While I am still half way talking to her about my order, she suddenly look at the entrance and started to raise her voice and asked the 3people at the entrance how many of them and starts to talk into her earpiece telling other staffs that there are 3people outside needs to be serve into the restaurant. I was left standing there waiting for her, and then she starts serving me again asking me if I needs disposal utensils which then I told her I already mentioned earlier that I need. When I mentioned to her that she should have attend to me and let me finish my order first before attending to someone else and she only mentioned that they are busy and because it is peak hour . 🙄 First of all, we knows that Singapore dinner peak hours normally start between 6pm or 6.30pm onwards. Secondly, if she wants to multi task due to lack of staffs, I can understand but she should at least inform me first while she does that which she didn’t. In the result I have to wait and repeat what I have said. Thirdly, I came first to place my take away order but in the middle of her action, I have to wait till those people who came later than me to be serve and enter the restaurant then she return to serve me. Moreover what I’m ordering is just 1 noodle item. This is not the first time it’s happen. I hope they can improve on...

Her request for her birthday lunch. Weeks ago,she said she want to have xiao long bao for her bday. Birthday girl request, cannot reject right. So we had light breakfast and went for lunch. It's very crowded due to Public holiday.
First came the pork chop, Honestly I wasn't very pleased with it's presentation... Just look at it yourself... I know your kitchen is busy BUT serving that kind of presentation... is totally 🙄🤨🤔 The birthday girl said it's ok.. she didn't want to wait again...
double boiled Chicken la mian for Didi... His must have..
HB have his usual hot and sour la mian
The radish pastry was good today too.
We tried out 3 new items today..
Szechuan 辣子鸡 - not really spicy.. JJ can munch on it too..
Black bean pork - Honestly it's too sweet for us.. but the meat is very tender. Would be good to have some cucumber along to balance the taste. Even though they had some lettuce covered below.. it wasn't enough.
Next is the cheesy XLB - I was looking forwards to it... But kinda disappointed.. the amt of cheese in it... Is beary justify to it's cheesy XLB name.
And last but not least, the original xlb is a must have. Since bday girl requested for xlb.
And not forgetting the water Chestnut drinks.
Definitely not our first time here but the first time we went on water parade after eating... Maybe the chef got into a happy war with MSG in the kitchen with our...
