Jinjja Chicken has revamped items on its menu. Three popular K-Burgers, Bulgogi Beef Burger, Fried Chicken Burger and the all-new Seafood Burger. All their burgers buns are now softer and fluffier brioche bun. The Fried Chicken Burger has been the all-time best-seller at Jinjja Chicken since day 1. They use thick cuts of whole fried chicken thigh, hand-brushed with your choice of signature sauce (Soy Garlic, Yangnyeom or Monster), topped with a slice of melted cheese and sliced cabbage. The juicy and loaded Fried Chicken Burger are super delicious. You can upsize with a double patty
The Bulgogi Beef Burger has also been upgraded with a bulgogi beef patty that is thicker and juicer than before. It now comes topped with a new black pepper tartar sauce that elevates the taste of the burger. Order a double patty stack for a more indulgent and fuller satisfaction.
The all-new Seafood Burger will satisfy the cravings of seafood lovers out there. The burger oozes natural salty sweetness from the combination of clam, prawn and fish in the thick patty, which is perfectly fried to achieve a crispy crust. Read moreGreat food, but would like to highlight one thing for the sake of the staff members.
There is a very sweet older lady, and we appreciate her attentiveness to her customers. She asked us how the food was, and even gave us a takeaway box with extra plastic bag when we asked for just the box to takeaway. For employer reference, it was the attendant on the floor on 8th of August during my time sitting from 12:45pm to 1:30pm.
Separately however, because of the 60 cent wing promotion, I felt that there were a few things that went wrong with the queueing system because of the large crowd. Upon arriving, we noted that there was the sign that said to get a seat inside before also queueing for the food. Hence my family members got a seat closer to when we were approaching the cashier. We were directed by a “frantic” staff member who told us to stay in the “having here” queue. However, when we were second from the cashier, she told us we queued up wrongly and would have to go to the back of the line because we were in the “seat” queue instead of the “food” queue. I’ve been queuing for about 20 minutes, and being asked to queue at the back of the line after being misdirected by the same staff herself was very off-putting. Also, she kept jabbing and tapping my arm the entire time she was asking me to go to the back of the line…. Not cool please. I’m hoping it never happens to me again as a regular customer of jinjja. Thankfully (also i guess she didn’t wanna escalate the situation) she opened up her cashier to rectify and de-escalate.
My 5 stars comes from a place of love for the food and experience crafted by some of the staff members. But i do wish that the issues i’ve addressed in this review can be taken seriously by upper management. Please do not put your staff in the situation where they are stressed out by the sudden promotion and crowd, and designate proper signage to help both your customers and...
Read moreInstructions unclear. Signage stating one thing, while staff says another. She told us off when my friend use her bag to reserve a seat prior to ordering. My friend merely "proceeded when there are available unmarked tables" as mentioned.
She states that there's a queue infront hence we can't "ensure that you have an available table before purchasing your food" as per stated on signage.
If your company staffs can't be briefed on protocols stated for the public then perhaps your HR department needs some training on filtering the correct people for the job. (The job of conveying company practices and traditions to ALL staffs from workplace to workplace.)
Tried our best to not make a scene by conversing politely; we talked nicely and did not hurl a single word of vulgarity. However staff is insisting on her right way of doing things and did not even apologise based on courtesy. Lost my appetite after a few minutes of pointless arguments and eventually decided to settle somewhere else for dinner.
Maybe this needs to go to CASE. (Did not wanted to mention the staff's name above as this is a public post and its her ricebowl. Most likely its the management's mistake for not training their...
