I recently had the pleasure of indulging in Pocha's newest seafood medley, and I must say it was a Crab-tastic Affair! As a seafood lover, I was thrilled to discover the array of enticing new dishes and flavors on the menu. From classic favorites to innovative creations, Pocha's expanded selection ensures that diners will be spoiled for choice. 😍😍
One of the standout dishes was the Ganjang-Gejang, also known as raw marinated crab in homemade soy sauce. The fresh crab is marinated in a secret homemade soy sauce that infuses the tender crab meat with a rich umami taste, giving a burst of flavor with every bite. 👍🏻😋😋
I also enjoyed the Jo-gae Bokkeum, a spicy stir-fried delight featuring succulent flower clams sautéed with garlic, leek, onion, and an addictive spicy clam sauce. The Kkot-ge Bokkeum, a spicy crab dish with garlic, leek, onion, and egg, was another highlight. 👍🏻😋😋
For those looking for a comforting option, Pocha's Jo-gae Stew is a must-try. This slow-simmered stew features sweet flower clams, fragrant ginger, spicy chili padi, and aromatic garlic in a hearty broth. 👍🏻😋😋
Don't forget to take advantage of Pocha's exclusive K-Lunch Set during lunch hours from Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) between 11.30am to 4pm, complete with a refreshing honey lemon drink to quench your thirst and complementary unlimited banchans! And, for a fun twist on your meal, be sure to try the Soju Bomb (follow the steps shown on this Reel). 😍😍😍
As it's May, don't miss out on Family Month at Pocha! Flash the Korean Heart sign upon billing to receive 20% off your bill (ala carte food items only). ❤️❤️
Overall, my experience at Pocha was nothing short of Crab-tastic. With its wide range of seafood options and festive atmosphere, it's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in Korean seafood...
Read moreFirst time trying this korean street dining restaurant, but was a bit disappointed with the service. I ordered my food at 1:10pm, most of the tables were served, maybe left 1 or 2 tables of guests waiting for their food. They served me my drink and then 6 pieces chicken, but my main dish was taking forever. I have to even pace my chicken wings so I won't finish them before my main fish come. I was having my last piece of chicken at 1:33, finally 1:35 my noodles came. While i was waiting i googled jjapagetti because i have never tried before - "also known as Chapagetti, is a popular Korean instant noodle dish made by Nongshim, known for its black bean sauce flavor. It's the second most popular ramyeon (ramen) in South Korea and was the first instant noodle product to resemble the Chinese dish jjajangmyeon." - according to google. Wow, it is an instant noodle product but it took close to half hour to cook! While having my 2nd last piece of chicken i still saw the kitchen chefs walking around, they didn't have anything else to cook i wondered. It was only then one of the 2 staff came and check my order - 11-1:30pm, the restaurant not even half full but they only have 2 staff + 1 manager, clearly they still lack of manpower. The staff didn't apologize for missing my order or whatsoever. Last part, the noodles was warm, but the ham and egg are cold. 😒 im not angry, im upset and disappointed. Edit: i just made payment and reflected to the manager, she was chasing for another table's order too. So apparently the kitchen was taking their time to cook the food, and the staff might be new they didn't dare to chase the kitchen for orders. The manager apologized, but still. Hope the kitchen system...
Read moredon't come the 4.4 stars is the lie, u get free ice cream for giving 5 stars. nice try trying to get us to come back with the $8 rebate but this is a restaurant I'll never visit again.

LOSTED STAFF there were several empty seats available, but no one was seating anyone and the staff were just ?? trying to find things to do ?? like uk when it's 30min till ur work end so u just keep highlighting cells on excel and unhighlighting them? same vibes from then except it was dinner time (7pm-ish). one of the staff came down the row TWICE to ask 'how many ppl' and noted it down on a piece of paper BOTH times :/
LAST COME FIRST SERVE? finally she started seating ppl, and 4-5 groups of ppl were seated within like 10min. we ordered our food and waited. 15min ltr, a group of 8 came in and sat beside us. by then, 2/4 of our dishes have been served, our fried chicken and kimari weren't served yet. 10min ltr, that was when i saw the server holding a plate of kimari, walking towards us. BUT ALAS, IT WAS SERVED TO THE TABLE OF 8, ALONG WITH A PLATE OF FRIED CHICKEN. visibly confused, we asked the waiter for our food, to which they replied that the kitchen is still preparing. 15mins passed, our food was served. we questioned why our food was served later when we ordered earlier, to which they replied "oh really so sorry ah"
THE LOST DOG yes we went there for the $1 corndog promo. upon biting into it, it tasted great. upon further biting, we realized: where's the hot dog? there's just cheese. we thought maybe it's a corncheese. finally, 3/4 into the corndog, riiiiight at the end of the stick, behold -- a cocktail sausage 🤩🤩 fyi the corndog was $6.90...
