Service: i went to imm outlet around 5pm on 1September 2024(Saturday) and i ordered 6 plates of fried ebi sushi, however your staff place it on the conveyor belt and when reach my table i left one plates, so i ordered again to the only female staff there and requested to serve straight to my table. But your staff said CANNOT, and said that will reach us but this time round none of the sushi i ordered reach me… seriously your miso soup can serve to our table but sushi cannot? so i ordered the 3RD TIMES! I approached one of the male staff(Edwin) and he really take the effort to serve to my table of what sushi i ordered. Appreciated on his service.
Food: The taste is still standard but have faced two plates of sushi isn’t hygiene, have hair on one sashimi salmon i took and the other is the glass shrimp sushi i saw on the conveyor belts. Really feel IMM outlet need some improvements.
Overall: Bad experience due to the service although at the end i still get a much better service. I prefer Sunplaza sushi express outlet as the staff there are more willing to serve the food you ordered to your table instead of placing on the belts and test my luck whether i lucky enough to get what i ordered… I understand there are lots of customers however with both outlet comparisons, sunplaza outlet sometimes only hav 2 staff over there and still they hav the better service than IMM and even IMM hav 3 staff working today but i still face a bad service experience ( i have come to IMM outlet many times and most of the time the staff wont even bother to service what you order to my table all place on the belts…) But Sunplaza Staff would really serve to you when you ask for it. Read moreI often come here on weekends for my dinner with family, but there'll always be a long queue during meal times so do come early if you're getting your meal fixed here.
The restaurant was very clean and tidy, fast service too when ordering other dishes not on the conveyor belt. Do try the miso soup when you're here, because they have lots of goodness and ingredients inside like salmon and tofu making the miso broth really rich in flavour. Btw the soup costs you the same price as the conveyor belt dishes which is $1.50 so it's a really good deal you got.
Cream puffs are the best 👌 you'd have to try that too, but if you don't see it on the conveyor belt, just ask the service staff to get it for you and they'll deliver it to your table. The cream puffs are so rich in milk flavour and it's like an ice cream texture when eaten. Really good.
Also, if you're coming late around 8pm, then do make haste because 9pm would be their last order they can take from customers and they close at 9:30pm now due to the Covid-19. (Although Google states that they close at 10pm, when we went there close to 9pm, the staffs told us to be quick as they currently close earlier due to the situation.)
Overall, loved the food and the quick service brought to us. Enjoyed it...

I recently had a disappointing dining experience at Sushi Express IMM with my son. We arrived 30 minutes before the buffet started at 3 PM, excited for a meal. About 10 minutes before the start, the staff called us in to take payment first and informed us that only white plates were allowed for the buffet.
We looked at the menu and proceeded with our choices, but to our dismay, there were only a few white plates rotating on the conveyor belt. The diners next to us seemed to be in a frenzy, snatching up nearly every plate that came by as if they hadn’t eaten in days.
After spending 25 minutes waiting for more white plates to arrive, it became clear that the kitchen had only prepared plates of other colors. It’s frustrating to think that most diners come for the buffet experience, yet the restaurant didn't ensure an adequate supply of white plates. This lack of preparation resulted in unnecessary waiting and a chaotic atmosphere.
Overall, my experience at Sushi Express IMM was far from satisfactory. I sincerely hope they address this issue in the future to enhance the dining experience...
