Cost $28 for this. Price was not written anywhere in the store lol. Mala soup was pretty alright with no bits and pieces of unplesant spices like the peppercorns that you can bite into. Really can taste the 麻 and 辣. There was a wide variety of ingredients.
Some ingredients like the mini white fishcake and the flat fishcake thing tasted sour and rancid though. Bamboo clams were SO FISHY and gross.
The service was trash. The cashier was alright, but the kitchen staff slammed the bowl onto the collection counter and stared at me with dagger eyes lol. Was looking forward to eat the fried stuffs with the soup. Disappointed. It was not written anywhere that we have to request for it nor did the cashier staff asked us if we want to have the "fried only" ingredients fried lol. The staffs were sweeping the floor right after I finished my meal and the uncle sweeped my feet and the broom was wet omg. Damn disgusting urgh. I just took my bags and told my sister that we needed to leave immediately. Went to the bathroom to wash my feet asap. Probably would...

Large spread of ingredients and they have a lot more different soup bases here (esp non spicy ones). Spiciness of the soup at this outlet is a bit less so can go for one level more spicy than usual! Medium is not spicy for people who can handle chilli.
New place is quite spacious and comfortable. They don't have a lot of staff and I think they can only cook 2 bowls at once, so during peak hours you might have to wait...
