I love cat cafés and been to multiple cafes all over the world. I can't get enough of the small furry friends 😻 I really enjoyed Mackafe especially after realizing that all the cats are saved cats and the café is a non profit organization. I'm surprised about how calm the cats are when a lot of them have had rough lifes prior to being rescued. Don't expect the cats to jump on your lap. Expect them to be in the room with you and give a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Go and pet the cats that lay within reach. They are very calm and will enjoy it. There's a hole I the wall so the cats can escape if they want to be left alone, which I think is really great. I had the strawberry cheesecake and a matcha milkshake. My boyfriend had a berry lemonade and a hot chocolate. It was all great. Remember to buy a lot to support them (it's super cheap).

What a hidden jem this is. If you love cats and love food then this is heaven. Located on the way up the hill to the castle this is the perfect place to stop for a recharge. There are 8 rescue cats that live here that walking around the tables or lie on their beds all waiting to be stroked. This is a very clean place no stray hair to be found and its quiet and peaceful like your living room. Just sit back on a comfy sofa and wait for the cats to come to you. The cats aren't there to perform and can leave to safe places away from guests whenever they want to our just sleep like cats do. The menu has a story about each cat explaining their name and how they got there, the staff speak perfect English. The cake is lovely and reasonably priced, this is a must do

We visited here for a hot drink each and to meet the cats living here. The cats themselves seem very happy and content - they fell into deep sleeps but didn’t seem groggy at all (sometimes I feel concerned at how ‘dopey’ the cats in these places seem). Some were very alert and were happy to jump around, onto tables and sofas. The cats seemed very healthy and all had clean and shiny coats. The cafe was very clean and tidy and the drinks were well made and tasty. It’s clear that the founders of the cafe club have thought very carefully about how they want to run the cafe, putting the cats’ health and happiness first. I’d definitely recommend a visit for any cat lovers!

Upon finding out that this cat cafe exists in Bratislava, I was even more motivated to make a day trip to the city. What a gem! The cafe is so cozy and makes you feel relaxed and happy. The food is yummy (especially the lemonades and the cakes) and the hot chocolate was really cute, as well as delicious. The cats are really active in the evening and were super playful and friendly. The organization of the cafe has helped and treated all the cats that live there now, and they are so well socialized. The staff is also very friendly and the music played was good. I hope to come back one day, as it is one of the best cat cafes I’ve been to in Europe so far.

Read about this place and decided to give it a try. Good, cozy ambience with cats freely moving around (like they do). Good coffee to enjoy the atmosphere, the vegan cake was ok, cheesecake was good. There are rules on behaviour towards the cats. Be sure to follow them. It's common sense actually. Don't bother the cats unnecessarily. The owners were friendly. They accept only cash, though. Unique fun place to go if you have the time in Bratislava. PS: I'd like to mention that all the food you order comes with a glass bowl to cover. The cats do get on to the table and the bowls are handy to cover the food. Good thinking to provide them.

Despite the cats, the place is really clean. No hair on the tables and/or food, basically, hair was only in places on which a cat was napping currently. The atmosphere is quiet, which was really pleasant. Our server approached us after ~5 minutes of sitting down, and was very nice. They also have plenty of board games to choose from, although a few of the chess pieces were missing (no worries, you can just improvise and use a rolling dice as a bishop) There is a parking lot right in front of the café, but if you prefer to use city transport, be prepared to walk for around 7-10 minutes from the bus stop.
