I had such a lovely experience at Moja srdcovka – it’s one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. You can tell this is a place created with heart – the name says it all.
The menu was a perfect mix of traditional Slovak flavors with a modern twist. Every dish we tried was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. I especially loved the [insert favorite dish if you’d like], it was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. They also have great options for drinks – whether you’re into local wines, lemonades, or coffee, there’s something for everyone.
What stood out even more was the service – the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain the menu and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting Bratislava, Moja srdcovka is a place that truly deserves a spot on your list. Great food, heartfelt service, and a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay just a little longer. I’ll definitely...
Read moreThis place has 2 parts, 1 is covered terrace with too many chairs and also a parked kiosk with 2 heaters, which cannot manage to keep the place heated up. You feel very cramped in this space and every time somebody walks in, they will disturb your table. This is purely touristic place with as many chairs as they can fit in the space. It is not accessible with a buggy - it has double stairs at the entry and then another double stair to continue inside, where you order. You order in the second part, at the counter - which is really inconvenient if you leave your buggy in the first part, as you cannot see your buggy. Stuff is very young, sometimes feel very unwelcoming, when you come to order. They are very busy and probably stressed from it. The selection of meals is good, but things like pancakes are extremely overpriced, literally Vienna prices. The Dubai chocolate macaron does not taste like Dubai chocolate with kneffe, Perník coffee (gingerbread) tasted weird, St. Sebastien saved it partially, but did not taste fresh. However the pistacchio chocolate is a...
Read moreAs with its original venue in Banska Bystrica: this used to be my favourite patisserie of choice in Slovakia. They used to have huge cakes, for decent (ordinary) prices, of a great taste and solid quality... and even looking good. Balanced mixture of traditional Slovak "cukráreň" style of cakes, modern western type of sweets, as well as good looking raw tartes.
Nowadays overpriced, with much more limited assortiment and cakes tasting somewhat artificial. Even if cakes are looking spectacular, the appearance now often masks the tastelessness. As if they went the margarine way and "make it very sweet" and/or "make it very colorful"... but far from "home made" cake flavors. A pity of a good brand.
They have really fancy interiors and design (even if: does anything of cake/ice cream sort have to be stylized in bright white?). But for the expensive place they are now, therefore not so crowded, getting noticed by the staff ("always doing something") takes annoyingly disproportional time.
Also, they often miss the alternatives for huge boxes. Saving...
