Pizza Kitty — Restaurant in Trnava

Tasty simple food. Burger served with lukewarm unsalted chips, but on the other hand - (probably) home made ketchup which was nice. Burger itself - very good. Food itself - 4/5

Place that serves big pizzas for affordable prizes - hence will never run out of crowds of locals frequenting it. They are fully aware of it and so - don't seem to care about quality of service very much. Probably understaffed as well - but who cares - their problem.

Takes forever to get noticed... Then it takes another eternity to get noticed when you want to pay... When it feels like he'll never show up - you can't pay at the bar either - you need to go back and sit at your table hoping the waiter will eventually come.

Once he does - the waiter won't ask if you intend to pay by card and will assume that for some strange reason you prefer to pay cash. When you tell him you want to pay by card he'll inform you it's your fault you didn't tell him (because why would HE be asking you, right?) and that it would now take him very long time to find out where the terminal is... And of course, you wouldn't want a waiter to have a tough job when you go out, right?

Small town backwardness at a place that thanks to it's location & business model cannot be affected by reviews.

But if you end up in Trnava for some reason and you want something that nobody can screw up (pizza / burger) it's an OK place. You want to feel appreciated for stopping by? Go...

Well this was kind of fun, bizarre fun, but fun nonetheless. Visiting with my wife and baby in stroller. Ordered couple of drinks, salmon and pizza. Everything was slow, but we were not in a rush, so I didn't really care. Wife received her pizza, but salmon was nowhere for 15 minutes. Same applies for our server - Nikolas - nowhere to be seen. After approximately 15 minutes my salmon finally arrived. It was cold. I found our server Nikolas and told him I want to pay for everything except for salmon which is cold. Server Nikolas took my plate, went inside and came back in couple of minutes, claiming : buddy, I'm sorry but salmon is warm. As there was no point to argue with him (he was arrogant through the whole visit) I asked him to bring the bill for everything, even for the salmon I didn't eat. Out of curiosity, I've asked him to tell me how was he able to find out that the salmon is warm so quickly - he said, no problem at all and he touched the salmon with his finger. He also added with a grin: it's hot actually. I've never ever in my life experienced something like that. We're not visiting Pizza Kitty often as the service is normally average at best, safe to say we will never go there after this performance from Nikolas. So many good restaurants in Trnava, Pizza Kitty is not one of them....

food was okay but: we asked for a box for the leftover pizza and the box they gave us was actually already dirty (how??) but we didnt say anything and just wrapped the pizza piece in paper before putting it in, because we didnt feel like being annoying customers although that was pretty weird. check comes, i had asked for "one prosecco" and i got a double charge. i ask the waiter why, and he's already acting rude and telling me that since he gave me a big glass i should have known it would be double. I never asked for that and he never asked me how much i wanted, so i didnt feel like this is right and when i told him that, he started swearing at me LOUDLY in Slovak using all the most common swear words thinking i wouldn't understand. I've been here for a while so trust me I did, and oh so did the families around lol. he came back with the right charge at least. so, Andrej/Ondrej or whatever your name was, have a nice day too :) be glad i was too upset to try to complain about your vulgarness to...
