Pizza, Pints, and Courtyard Vibes at Čajka 🍺🍕

After settling into our apartment in the heart of Trnava, we wandered just downstairs to Čajka, a laid-back spot that ended up being the perfect way to wind down the evening. We shared a prosciutto pizza - generous on the cheese and toppings - and paired it with a couple of crisp beers. For the price, it was great value, and the flavours didn’t disappoint. There’s something deeply satisfying about a well-loaded pizza done right..

What really made the experience stand out, though, was the warm and attentive service. A young gentleman - whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch - went above and beyond to help us, from showing us how to access our apartment to offering advice on where to park. Throughout our visit, he remained welcoming and proactive, clearly passionate about ensuring guests feel looked after.

The atmosphere was lovely too, especially for a Monday night. We found a spot in the quiet back courtyard - a spacious, open-air retreat with a relaxed vibe - though there’s plenty of cozy indoor seating as well.

Nice family friendly place in Trnava, just little further of the main sqaure. The food was very good, and the staff was friendly, however we were waiting for our orders forever. Both food and drinks took ages to order. When food arrived, it was great though. We went when it was busy, and they were clearly struggling with the capacity. They decided to keep a reserved table for two hours after the reservation without anyone actually coming in, so we struggled to get a table...

Obsluha velmi mila.. maju tendenciu popliest objednavky (doniest viac alebo aj menej ako si objednate, obcas uplne vypustia jedlo z hlavy). Maju toho vzdy vela a uplne zabudli na nasu rezervacku a to nas malo byt 9 dospelych a 4 deti. Nastastie v tom case este nebol plny podnik ;) Na kofole nie je moc co hodnotit, na jedle ano: salatik jedly, pizza jedla, stangle gumove nedopecene, cesnakovy dresing - davaju donho aj nejaky jogurt - takze je to skor riedka omacka. Prostredie v prvej casti, vnutri i vonku velmi prijemne. Wc: svedci skor o vizitke navstevnikov a ich sposoboch. Papier tam je vzdy, len na damskych toaletach sa zasekavaju dvere, pripadne nejdu dobre dovriet ;) V zadnej casti zahrada s detskym...
