Being new to the area, we came here based on reviews. We were immediately met and greeted. Soon after we were graciously seated and received the utmost attention from our waiter throughout. He was able to recommend a wonderfully balanced and exemplary Slovenian wine matched to our desires and food choices. The bread was brought to our table and proved to be fresh, still warm and delicately flavored with perfect crust and internal moisture and structure. My dish of fresh, handmade pasta with scampi and black truffles was not only a perfectly sized portion, but was out of this world! The scampi had a creamy texture without being too rich or fatty. The flavour created a perfect backdrop to the pasta (watch out grandma- I may have a new noodle love). The perfect amount of truffles created a flavor trifecta with the scampi, and pasta. And now to the desert... summer tiramisu arrived artfully presented and topped with ice cream hiding delectable treasures withing and coated solid chocolate. The tiramisu itself was surrounded in zabaglione and dusted with cocoa powder. It is now time for a nap. Thank you CAPRA.
