A wonderful little place right on the water that's been family-operated for over 40 years. It's one of the very few non-touristy, non-snobby places found in Pirano. After a number of very disappointing meals in Pirano, it was a breath of fresh air. We had the mixed grilled plate, featuring perfectly cooked, incredibly seasoned grilled bass and bream, with a side of some of the best home fries I've had anywhere. The food is home-cooked, always-fresh fish that they get from a local Pirano fisherman twice a week. The parents work as the chefs and the son and the rest of the family work the floor. Honest prices for the quality of the catch. This place is the real deal. Cannot recommend enough.

Klein, gut, ehrlich und nie angepasst. Nun ist letztes Jahr der Grillmeister Savo überraschend gestorben und wir hatten Angst, ob wir diese Piraner Institution verlieren, da seine grandiose Frau und Mastermind Mia eigentlich auch schon längst in die längst verdiente Pension wollte - nun probiert der Sohn den Gastronom, während Mia den großen Grill bedient, und die nächste Generation übt in den Ferien den ersten Service: Neue Rezepte und Lieferanten, noch immer die besten gegrillten Calamari und Ćevapčići Standards, gemischter Salat und grob geschnittene Pommes. Einfach ankommen, wenn ein Tisch frei ist, bitte ohne Stress (es ist ein kleines Team) den Blick genießen, vielleicht Delfine sehen, und die Chance auf gutes, ehrliches, authentisches Essen in Piran hochhalten, bitte! Wir waren heut wieder dort, mit Freunden, und wollen es unbedingt noch lange genießen dürfen…es ist ein Teil Pirans. Punkt.

How did this place get 4.8 stars???? Must be gamed somehow. I was embarrassed to have taken my group to such a tourist rip off. The food was very ordinary and some dishes were very overpriced. The waiter was rude. The cheese platter was 5 pieces of white cheese on a plate for 11€ - I mean make an effort! A little more care and the place could be okayish. But one or two.of the price to portion ratios were insulting

No vegetarian...
