I recently visited Mugg & Bean at Boardwalk Mall, and my experience was delightful. The café boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual meet-up or a relaxing solo outing. The décor is modern yet cozy, making it an ideal spot to unwind.
The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. I opted for their famous Giant Muffin and a cappuccino. The muffin was fresh, generously portioned, and bursting with flavor. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed, rich, and aromatic, providing a perfect balance to the sweetness of the muffin.
The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. Despite the café being fairly busy, my order arrived promptly, which was impressive.
One of the standout features of this Mugg & Bean is its location within Boardwalk Mall. It's conveniently situated, making it a great pitstop during a shopping spree or a quick break from exploring the mall. The outdoor seating area offers a pleasant view, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, Mugg & Bean at Boardwalk Mall is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, great coffee, and excellent service in a comfortable setting. I highly recommend it and will definitely be...
Read moreSuper disappointed in the vegan options available at M&B. I frequently visited them and was happy when they introduced more vegan meals, however, I went there with family over the weekend and I could only find 3 vegan options as most of them were taken off the menu. I ordered the vegan fry up breakfast as it sounded amazing and not many places offer breakfast options with vegan sausages. When my meal arrived, I had two tasteless Fry’s sausages which was very disappointing as I was expecting a M&B vegan sausage at least. I also had a stale slice of bread, three cherry tomatoes, some fried mushrooms with spinach and a hash brown the size of a chicken nugget. For the price, the amount of food I received was shocking. Initially when they served us, they forgot our toast and when we enquired about it, they brought it to us along with some butter which makes absolutely no sense as we ordered a vegan breakfast. This makes me question whether my meal was actually 100% vegan friendly. They also overcharged us on an item we didn’t even order. Mug & Bean used to be one of my favorite places to have breakfast and lunch, but the quality and service is not up to...

This was by far the worst Mugg & Bean I have ever visited. The service was shockingly poor. We had to call the waitress over for any kind of assistance—she never once checked on us or asked if we needed anything, and spent most of the time with her back to us. Only after we complained to the runner who brought our food did we get any attention.
The food was just as disappointing. I ordered an omelette with mozzarella, mushroom, and onion, but it was overloaded with half-cooked onions, making it unappetizing. The omelette itself was thick, rubbery, and tough. My husband had a burger with a patty that was small, pink in the middle, and topped with soggy, unappealing "crispy" onions and barely any pineapple. He also ordered a bottomless hot chocolate, but every refill took at least 10 minutes—as if they were deliberately stalling to avoid serving more.
What made it worse is that they weren’t even busy. If they had the same crowds as the Walmer branch, I might have understood the delays, but Walmer consistently delivers excellent service and food even when they’re packed. Sadly, this branch fell far below any...
