Wimpy Baywest — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

Overall a positive experience, though I may have been the reason for my food being lower quality than expected.

In an attempt to order something healthy and lower calorie, I opted for an omelette, with less cheese and added mushrooms. I received a plate that looked extremely plain and unappealing, with the omelette being surrounded by a lot of liquid. (I requested additional serviettes and soaked up the liquid as best I could)

I was surprised that a simple breakfast for two amounted to R390 before the tip (2 large coffees were R100) a higher price than breakfast at Savages or Brioche) but the service was good and although the restaurant had become increasingly busy, the atmosphere was still calm and not too noisy.

Upon arriving at Baywest Mall, we found no sign that dogs were not allowed. I now have photos to prove this. We took our Yourkshure Dog with us. We arrived at Wimpy, but nobody approached us to guide us to a seat. We then proceeded to the furthest outer corner and sat down. None of the waiters approached to indicate that the dog was not allowed. After completing our lunch, the manager approached to complain about the dog. Excellent Experience at Wimpy Baywest

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wimpy Baywest, and I must say that the service was absolutely excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feell right at home.

But what really stole the show was the food - it was absolutely fantastic! The quality and taste were top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
