Nando's Cape Road Drive Thru — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

21/02/2023 The food was underwhelming it was definitely not worth the money. The employee taking the order though was very friendly, she explained in detail the things to us without getting upset that we were asking questions and her service was 5/5 BUT the food was not living up to the hype. The wrap was so expensive and it just had a little bit of filling. The biggest issue we had was the security guard on service that night. We stopped in the parking lot to eat as we had a long drive home from PE and nandos was our last stop and he knocked on our window while we were eating and said we can't sit there and eat only go in to order. We told him we were tired and just wanted to finish our meal before leaving for the road and then he said we parked (a few centimeters literally) over the line even though the entire parking lot was empty we should park properly. We decided to leave and still ended up very unhappy with our food. It's not...

The parking lot was full- no worries I parked at KFC, bought a small pops and walked over to Nandos. They immediately came over and told us we can't be there with a KFC bag. Fine, understandable, in spite of the fact that we only had it because they don't have adequate parking at the store. We ordered 4 meals and drinks. Except my meal never arrived. Periodically we would remind them. Everybody else in the entire restaurant got their meals- including people who had ordered the same as me. I kept asking nicely about my food, but received sullen, blank stares. I guess they were punishing me over that KFC bag, as after an hour everyone else had finished their food and mine was still nowhere to be seen. Amazingly they brought it in a takeaway bag 5 minutes after we said we're leaving please bring it.

No parking, unreasonable rules, bad attitude, there is no reason...

I have never NOT been ripped off by this Nandos.

Each time we order a meal, something is missing. A side like chips or rice, a cold drink or a piece of chicken. Today was the last day. I got home in the afternoon, sat down to enjoy my meal and there we go... Missing Malva pudding. Isn't it straight up theft when you pay a company R55 for something and it's just not there???

The lady who helped me was so preoccupied. She didn't even check my order. I hate that I keep PAYING money and not receiving my items. By the time I got home, I was so far away from the Nandos that I could not bother to drive back. The last time it happened, the staff refused to fix it. Bruh. This is making me moeg.

And they skimp on the food. I paid R135 for pita and Malva pudding. What did I get, 2 tiny boiled chicken strips and got robbed...
