As a very regular customer, Nourish’d is without a doubt my all time favourite spot in Cape Town. I cannot recommend it more highly to absolutely everyone 💚
Their menu has a huge variety of plant based dishes and caters for absolutely every taste bud.
I am blown away every time by the world class quality and freshness of the food, the impeccable service and kindness of the staff, and the all round genuine love and care that goes into making this place so incredibly special and truly unmatched.
Their smoothie bowls deserve a mention of their own. I have yet to find a place anywhere in the world that can compare to the literal art in a bowl that Nourish’d produces. Their Gone Green bowl is clearly a personal favourite 😍
I have also arranged for private catering with Nourish’d for two events now. Both times there was no question in my mind about where to turn for catering, Nourish’d was the first choice. For the most recent event, I contacted Nourish’d only two days before the event and still they did not hesitate to accommodate me and ensured that every need was met meticulously. They delivered the freshest, most divine platters that everyone absolutely raved about. I cannot recommend their catering services enough, and needless to say - won’t hesitate to use Nourish’d again for any upcoming event in the future.
Whether you are dining in, taking out, or arranging catering, you are guaranteed to receive only the freshest, most delicious, nutritious plant based goodness that there is.
Natasha and the rest of the staff at Nourish’d are truly an incredible team of people. Nourish’d has set the bar incredibly high. Cape Town is so lucky to have...
Read moreIf you are looking for a laid-back place for a coffee break or a healthy start into the day, you should stop by at Nourish‘d. The menu is fresh, healthy, and completely plant-based. Since I am a breakfast person I was happy to find so many options on the menu — bowls, toasts, smoothies. If you are craving for a vitamin kick there are many of freshly made juices that come in gorgeous glass bottles. I loved my warm oaties, and the banana toast with almond butter was luscious too. It’s lovely to sit outside on the tiny patio under the palm roof — but you have to be lucky to find a free spot there since the store at Kloof street was right away super busy when we arrived there in the early morning. It’s really a vibrant place full of young people. If you are staying in the area of Woodstock or Observatory I would recommend to visit the second store in OBS instead, since this one is way more spacious and less crowded. We visited that store for another juice break in the afternoon and it was quite empty. So that’s your chance to escape the hustle and bustle from the city while second hand shopping in OBS. I am sure that this boho area will become way more busy and trendy in the next years, so go there before the tourist masses will do so too. And for the ones who love taking pictures of their breakfast bowle from every angle, this place has way more options for the perfect shot. ;) In general I just love that Nourish‘d stands for a very conscious lifestyle and I am happy to find such places during my trips to keep me healthy...
Read moreOur experience on 1 January was pretty disappointing. While we waited in line to order, quite a few people came in and asked about their orders, saying that they were waiting for an hour for their coffee, smoothie or food. Orders were lost and had to be reprinted. They take your name with your order and then call your name. Problem was that the cafe was packed and they just whispered the names. A lot of orders were just brought back in the kitchen. We often heard staff telling people who asked for their order that they couldn’t find them.
Our smoothie came out quickly and was large and tasty. For the rest we waited over an hour, including a simple coffee. I ordered a falafel wrap, but received a falafel salad. I didn’t complain, because we came from a hike and I was hungry. I didn’t wanna wait another hour and the team was already stressed enough. The falafel salad was very bland. 80% of the bowl were raw carrots, raw cucumber and rocket. It was very boring. When my wife went in and asked for here coffee and cauliflower burrito, they realized they gave me the wrong dish. They then prepared the falafel wrap, which is certainly positive. But I was full already. So we gave the wrap to a parking attendant. My wife enjoyed the cauliflower wrap.
All in all it looked like a very busy day for the staff who did their best to accommodate so many people. If the small kitchen can’t cope with the demand, customers should at least be told that the waiting time is...
