Wowww where do I start.....well it depends which one this review is for. If it's for the church street branch then I'll very happy to leave a comment. The food is always delicious, amazing, filling and the staff is super friendly. They like family to us and know me and family by name. Their prices are so cheap and the amount of food per serving is so much, you will always take a doggy bag home, never been able to finish my dish. All props to the chef, the taste of thir food amazing. , the real finger lickin good taste. We got there for every family function we have and never ever disappointed. The menu is so huge that everytime you ho there for 3 years you will have something different to Try out. As for the one on Mint street, worse expirence evererrrr the food was bad, my wife's Masala chops were burnt and the manager told her is fines she must just eat it. My daugters wanted Rotis, they brought dry Naan and told us that that is rotis they can't change it. My Mutton curry was cold and my sons steak curry was so little. All their portion were so small and little. They will never see us at the Mint street branch again. Worse part of that evening is that it was my wife's birthday and we decided to try out their brunch. For the first time we left AL Hamra...
Read moreMy first time at Al-Hamra, we treated our 71 year old father for his birthday.
We had a variety of Samoosas, Aloo and Plain Parathas, Masala Steak Sizzlers, Chicken Mansoorian Sizzlers, Beef Burger and Beef Mansoorian Sizzler - I recommend having the latter with fresh green chillies on the side and adding to your taste, delicious! We all enjoyed our mains thoroughly, portions are a reasonable size.
Dessert was a bit disappointing, the kids had Rice Pudding (Kheer) and Burfee ice cream.
Don't expect a refined menu with proper or consistent spelling, descriptions of the meals are amiss but don't fret - the waiters are there to explain the menu items to you!
All in all a positive experience and we will definitely...
Read moreI've eaten at Al-Hamra in Mint Road many times and food was always good when dining in,but really can't say the same about their takeout or delivery. I decided to order food on Uber eats today from Al-Hamra and food was absolutely terrible. Mutton curry was watered down no taste and unpalatable. Couldn't eat it. Soft Chapati was hard, old and Samoosas were burnt. Al-Hamra this is unacceptable even when customers order food for takeout or delivery, they expect you to still take care and pride with the quality of the food...
