Andiccio24 Bryanston — Restaurant in Gauteng

I'm literally three hundred meters from the Bryanston Branch of Andiccio24. It took them about an hour to deliver the order, a single R200 pizza, to an address to which they have delivered previously. Needless to say when the fairly ordinary Pizza eventually got here it was cold. It came with excuses and blaming the guard at the gate of the complex, whose fault it apparently was that the delivery guy ignored the address captured in the online interface. It seems that Andiccio management feel that customers want excuses and denial of responsibility. Now that I think about it the delivery was pretty slow the previous time too.

With that level of product and service the price is well beyond justification. It's R70 (give or take) more than a competitor would have charged for a similar pizza.

In fact, the "Build your own Pizza" differentiator, which was genuinely clever at first, is no longer a differentiator at all. The quality of the ingredients used to make the pizza weren't particularly special and are pretty much the same as any other delivering pizza place in the immediate area. Being open 24 hours is no differentiator at seven in the evening at all and never has been. So at this point it's a pretty ordinary pizza and at best unacceptable service at a much higher and frankly...

I complained last year about the service delivery at this branch, but deleted my review after accountability was taken and there were steps to resolve the issue.

I gave the branch another try today. The order of only one pizza took an hour to be delivered. When the delivery guy arrived at 18:30, he said he didn’t have a card machine, so he left the pizza and said he would come back.

By 20:00 I gave up waiting and went to bed. I get a phone call from security at 20:20 (almost 2 hours later) saying that the delivery guy is back for payment. I had to get out of bed, let him in and pay. Really inconvenient.

The last time I waited almost an hour in store and had to ask for a refund because they hadn’t even started with my order after an hour. Now I’m waiting for hours just to pay...
