Bembom Comaro — Restaurant in Gauteng

So l walk in and get sitted well. I order a bottle of sparkling water of which l get served in a dirty glass with no lemon. I politely call the waiter, show her the dirty glass. To my surprise, she says some stains on the glass are permanent😂😂. I ask her to bring a wet wipe (which l am told to wait for it because she wants to serve a table that came after me). I clean the glass and polish it and no visible or permanent stains are left. I show her that, instead of a mere sorry, she says that's not her problem the glass was dirty because the scullery said the machine is not properly working. So l ask myself, so customers must to be served in a dirty glass at Bembom comaro? The second Bembom to exist?. I then ask for the manager who comes and he greatly helps and takes my order. As I wait for my order, I look over my shoulder and notice my waitress, (LESEDI- Trainee) throwing her hands at me while talking to a male waiter by the POS system. Gilda another female waitress notices and instantly takes over service and apologizes for that behavior l just witnessed. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff are extremely friendly. The food however is mediocre. I tried the Italian sausage soup and the trinchado steak. Soup was bland, I had to ask for garlic and Chilli to up the flavour. Same with the trinchado steak, small portion of meat and very bland taste, wish there was more flavour because the concept is good. I bought the Nata (custard tarts) to take home but the custard was like scrambled eggs on the inside, and they are usually the best the last time i got them. All that said... My son and I each had a fillet steak (Ritcon) which I ordered specifically medium and stated more rare than overdone. I ordered the eggs (soft / Sunnyside up). Well the steaks were almost well done and the eggs were not soft. We also ordered the flat white coffee with the custard tarts. Midway through my coffee I found a fly which I reported to the waiter. He told Management about my complaints and needless to say, no one came to discuss the matter or even apologize. My bill was also charged for the full amount which I settled in full.
