It has been 3 months now that they haven't refunded me my money. I ordered via the app a small triple decker creamy chicken and a death by chocolate on the 26th of February. I was told it won't be able to be delivered because the distance is too far which I understood. The next day when I checked the app, it said my order was delivered so I called again and was told the money would be refunded to me in 7 working days as the restaurant canceled it themselves and what the app says is okay. After 10 working days I called again to ask when I'll get my refund and they kept avoiding to answer the question and started saying my bank is the one with the problem. I went to my bank and was told that the restaurant had to refund it themselves or they should give me a slip as proof of cancelation but they refused and said they'll look into it. I called them more times than I can remember and even sent a complaint but it was ignored. That money, however little it may seem, is very important to me especially as a student. REFUND ME!! I called the store to ask them to change it, they did not understand what I was saying. Eventually someone else came on the phone and I explained that I would like to change from collect to delivery and I don't mind paying the delivery cost. She refused to take my order number down so she knew which order I'm talking about and she kept on repeating my address back to me wrong. I then told them to cancel the entire order, again something which they couldn't understand. I laid a complaint with debonairs head office and got a call back from the Debonairs Braamfontein manager who couldn't speak proper English, was unapologetic and defended her staff making it seem like the problem...
