Mimmos Braamfontein — Restaurant in Gauteng

I love the food here. This is the restaurant I'd go to when me and my friends had something to celebrate (or just needed cheering up)

The vibe is nice, with a wholesome view of Braamfontein from two sides and enthusiastic waiters. Every now and then they'll play some sports match on the TV, creating a cost vibe (even though sports isn't my thing).

I tried their 2 for one special once. It was a really good deal, we ended up getting 4 pizzas. My topping of choice was the pulled pork but my friends would always prefer the chicken mayo, just 2 out of a wide array of choices.

But to be honest, the main reason I'd go to Mimmos is for the pasta. Simple but surprisingly filling and delicious, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. My favorite by far was the Gabrielle, offered with your choice of pasta type and, well, you just have to eat it yourself...

My recent visit to Mimos was a huge disappointment. Firstly, I was provided with dirty refreshment towels, which is unacceptable in any restaurant or cafe. Then, I ordered wings, which turned out to be rotten and inedible. The staff is not friendly at all and they don’t know how to treat their customers.
