Went there with a few family members. Food was absolutely terrible - I swear they have a basic chef there - not even sure if they are a chef at all.
Everything was disgusting in my opinion - ordered the farmstyle breakfast - the steak tasted rotten (didn't eat it) the eggs were totally raw and still clear (like a raw egg protein shake) they were out of sausages (No stock) they gave me like one mushroom cooped up (so sad🤣) It took about 20 minutes to make 4 coffees and bring them to the table (coffee was also terrible)
Wife got the Avo on toast with bacon and eggs (her eggs were also completely raw and she never landed up eating the egg) the toast was bread with about a teaspoon of Avo on it and the Bacon was completely overcook (it was like a rock)
You guys honestly need to work on this place - we were one of 2 tables throughout the restaurant and service was completely slow. I now know why there was no one there.
All I see is John Dory's response saying we would like to investigate the bad reviews further but it doesn't look like anything is being done. The breakfast menu is also poor with like only 5 things to choose from.
This is a complete disappointment and I'll never go to a John Dory's ever again because of this. The bite sized steak I go tasted like you had left it sitting out in the kitchen for a year and then you cooked it and served it to me. I took one bite spat it out and never ate the rest. I'm scared to see how the fish is kept🫣
You really really need to sort this out otherwise you will be closing down very soon. You need to send your current cook for training (cooking classes) or get a trained...

Read moreI am not impressed. Ordered through Uber Eats. After being quoted a 2 hour delivery time, I was happy that the time reduced during the process.
Fast forward, and the driver arrives with only 2 of the 3 meals ordered. This means that only 2 people in our 3 people family got food.
We queried it, and the instant response was, sorry, here is your money back for the missed food.... not, sorry, we will get it to you, or sorry, give us a moment to fix it.... it was a blatant- we won't help you and one of your family members does not need food tonight and will go hungry while the rest of the family chows down.
First and last!!!! I thought they were the better option for seafood, but apparently they could not care...
