KAUAI Benmore Gardens — Restaurant in Gauteng

This branch is terrible. Staff are rude and do not respect their jobs. They just want to drive customers away.

On a previous occasion, they made us wait for one strawberry stinger while my baby cried and howled. The order was ready but the cashier didn't want to pass the order to us. There was one customer waiting for an order to be taken and he didn't mind if we were taken care off first because of my kid being upset, but the cashier was stubborn and there was no other staff called to help. We were just made to wait and wait unnecessarily, yet it was a matter of passing a smoothie from the counter.

Last weekend, the store was closed at 16h45. I had to show them the time and then they took my order.

Today they refused to accept a vodacom R50 off a purchase voucher, saying they can't give me a large smoothie if a voucher is for a small smoothie. I tried explaining to 2 staff members that the voucher is R50 OFF ANY PURCHASE and not a smoothie voucher, but it seemed like they didn't want to hear, listen and understand my words and so I left.

Really terrible...

This was one of the worst Kauai i have ever been to. Rude staff. Absolutely rude staff. Did i mention the rude staff? I would name them. I should but no. I want Kauai to AMP UP YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Seriously. I havent been to this one before so i ordered a quick c breeze i think before i picked my mom up. I dont think they cater for anyone other then customers of their own skin colour. Its not a nice thing to say but you get the feeling of been watched constantly. And then when it was my turn, they were rude to me. I wonf be paying this store a visit again. Even if i did, i would rather buy from somewhere else then them. And the best part, the whole time they were rude to me, i was nice to them and i was apologizing to them for whatever they thought i did wrong. Benmore Gardens has lost its charm. And its sad. The smoothie was very potent with the added collagen not tasting great. I prefer...

We love Kauai and this branch has been one of our favourite. The staff and service are great! :) However our last visit here was uncomfortable because what seemed to be the manager called out one of the staff members and was 'reprimanding' her about something in the seating area. I did not like how she spoke to the staff member, it felt very demeaning. I also felt that it was inappropriate to address issues like this in a public space where we could all see and hear. The atmosphere felt very tense and I felt really bad for the staff member - maybe she did something wrong, but I don't feel that was the way to deal with the situation. It just left a bad impression of this branch seeing how the manager (I think it was)...
