I love it here. It was very quiet cause of the public holiday & I was looking for a place to just eat something. I'm quite happy that I bumped into a sushi place. Sushi is ALWAYS a good idea 😂 The gentleman that helped me was very lovely, patient and had a calm energy to him - odd that I actually didn't get his name actually, I was probably distracted. He was rather sweet. Onto the food, it so happened to be half price Sushi Wednesday, yaiy for me! In my head, I automatically wanted to eat everything - not cause of the special but because every time I have sushi it's at a sushi buffet so I think my mind has ruined me. I ordered some amazing menu items to nibble & try, I must say I wasn't too disappointed at all. I loved the presentation of the sushi & the taste of the Inari sushi (with bean curd), it was just divine. I also loved the deep fried salmon & avocado roll which had the most amazing flavour combinations to it. It was so perfect. Last but not least, I tried something really new in the spinach fried dumpling. I honestly didn't know what to expect & I thoroughly enjoyed it when I tried. With the accompanying chilli sauce, it made so much sense. On it's own, you wouldn't be wrong to think it was a bit bland. But overall, it's lovely. Aesthetically, it's not wow. It's literally like any other fast food takeaway spot so don't have expectations on how it should look like. But still, I enjoyed this fully.

Ordered a tom yum soup,(my favourite) told T.K no mushrooms, and what do you know..got a bunch of mushrooms in my soup. I just know now that if he takes my order there's gonna be a mistake somewhere, all the time..this is i think, like the 3rd messed up order, that ive gotten after ordering with TK,yet when it's the waiters that help me there's never a problem. I know its probably not a big deal for some but i hate mushrooms, they completely put me off.

The Pad Thai we ordered didn't match the picture at all. We ordered non spicy but it was super spicy with chilli. Pad Thai means dry Thai food with eggs and noodles. This had no eggs. It had a separate bowl of bitter watery soup. I am from Thailand and can't believe that you call this real Thai food prepared by experts. It was simply terrible, not simply Asia. Most probably never again.

I have been an avid Simply Asia fan for years. It is a place where the food is exciting and fulfilling for vegans. However, Benmore Gardens branch has lost a fan this evening. I called the branch to confirm they can make sushi with rice paper as I cannot eat Nori. They confirmed. I went. On ordering I was told they can only do the bamboo sushi (explanation did not make sense to me!). The item is usually made with avo, salmon and caviar. 4 pieces for R59. The vegetarian version has just avo with rice paper instead of Nori... For the same price!!! Salmon and caviar are the most expensive items in that dish. Take those away, surely there is a better price when of 6 Maki is R32! How can this be right? I left feeling...

( watched to cook coughing repeatedly on my food when making it complained to the manger about it and was told I exaggerate)

New year's Day went there at 18:00 for a take away after waiting for 30min ( the wait was understand able the place was quite swomped) I went to the glass kitchen window to see what was happening. To see the cook coughing repeatedly as she reaches into the fridge to get the spring rolls up untill she returns to her station to put them into the deep fryer. I call the manger after see this and told him I could not have this food and if I could just be refunded as there where evidently hygiene issues. The manger when of to tell the customer next to me that I...
