Motherland Coffee Company - Benmore. — Restaurant in Gauteng

Motherland Coffee Benmore is a small coffee stop, probably seats around 8-16 people max, perfect for a business person or someone on a lunch. They have the perfect sized menu with coffees and sweet things too. Pricing is fairly on point considering the shopping centre/area, but could ne considered slightly high of other branches in other areas charge these rates, but irrelevant this is sandton after all. The decor is modern, cosy and has their own unique touch. The coffee was strong and has a lovely aroma, but didn't taste 100% perfect, couldn't put my finger on it perhaps it was the roast. Clearly Motherland and I don't see eye to eye.

Their staff are friendly and they have an inviting area where you can sit and relax and even do some work. But that is as far as it goes.

Their coffee is not good. Definitely an odd flavour but usually also over extracted. It is a complete rip-off to pay R29 for a tall cappuccino that is not made properly.

Some people might like it but their mugs are awful. Such big rims....

This is my second visit, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I found the environment unsuitable for remote work due to excessive noise from the staff, despite requesting them to keep it down.
