This is not the 1st time we have complained (my husband and I). Often times, the smoothie quality is so mediocre that even the kids prefer going to the one down the road. But today's issue was service (which we have dealt with before). I was very clearly unwell and struggled to get onto my app to order a floo fighter - the impatience by staff was just the worst. Eventually I received my drink and very slowly carried an exceedingly hot AND overflowing drink to my table where the possibility of spillage and getting burnt were inevitable - both of which happened, unsurprisingly. The drink was so shoddily put together by people who clearly don't want to be there. Appalling service and zero consideration for the people at the other end of the counter. P.S. Went there today after my gym session with the goal in mind to get a smoothie and a wrap, but ended up going to another Kauai instead due to lack of service. I waited a couple of minutes at the counter, with no help at all. The guy was busy making a smoothie, which I understand he is busy and can't take my order immediately. The least one can do, especially when he looks at you, is just acknowledge you and say he will be with you in a minute, not carry on and completely ignore you. This is not the first time it happened there; the lack of service is just disappointing, especially when overpaying for a wrap and smoothie and thinking you would get some service. Visted on 25 September 2023, I bought a protein shake! Never in my life did I receive such bad service. Zanele, the lady who assisted me, was so rude, and I asked her why and teased that it was Heritage Day and that she must be happy. She rudely responded that she is tired and worked double shift on Sunday, 24 September. If you do not want to work, then leave it and let the countless millions without a job rather provide service with a smile. It's shocking to see this Kauai rated so low compared to others.
