KFC Cresta Mall — Restaurant in Gauteng

My girlfriend and I decided to both order the Wrapsta Box Meal, as it seemed like a good deal. The image used to advertise the meal displayed the Wrapsta to be a proper size, exceeding the size of the small cup for the drink that came with the meal. However,upon receiving our order, both our wrapstas were about the size of my hand's palm, which was way smaller than we were expecting. I ordered a large meal and my girlfriend a small. I was confused as to why the meal seemed identical in size. I chose to switch my fries for coleslaw, and my girlfriend as well. Both our cups of slaw were the same size, but my girlfriend decided that she didn't want the slaw anymore, and asked the kind cashier if she could trade back for fries, to which the cashier happily agreed to do. So taking the larger meal and trading the fries for coleslaw is basically a way to unnecessarily spend a excess amount of money for the same exact meal. The coleslaw was also not creamy at all, but rather very watery and bland. I do not recommend you get it at all. I payed an extra R17 for a larger soda, which is not ideal. Lastly, when ordering the meal, the advertised price of R67.90 was not what was applied to the order, but rather R77.90. I asked the cashier why the price is R10 more than advertised, to which they replied that we have to choose the option to make the drink from the soda fountain, rather than the default option of the buddy drink, which increased the price by R10. The advertising was very misleading and we didn't get what we expected at all.

Overall this was not a good experience. KFC's false advertisement of the size of the Wrapsta and the rip-off with the watery coleslaw that didn't even scale with the meal size and price increase, has earned them a bad review, and a customer that won't be coming back willingly in the future. I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the place was. The atmosphere was welcoming and spotless. But what really stole the show was the food - specifically, the meat was cooked to perfection! It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way I like it. And last but not least, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure I had everything I needed and were always smiling.
