Steers Cresta Centre — Restaurant in Gauteng

Extremely terrible service I received the last time I was here and it was my daughter's birthday. The service hardly ever good but this time around it was the worst. Ordered a burger for my partner and a sandwich for my daughter. Teller named Naomi Mnyuki didn't care to explain the difference between a meal and a combo, I had ask for clarity myself and even then she was cheeky about it. After that, I left my daughter and her mother to go buy some waffles for myself - I started at Milky Lane went to Mugg & Bean, went to Cinnabon and then eventually went all the way to Dominique's where I waited for 15 minutes - got my order and came back to Steers...THE ORDER I'D PLACED ROUGHLY 20 MINUTES AGO WAS STILL NOT READY! I asked what could be the hold up, I didn't get an answer all I was told was that it's coming, they're preparing (a lousy burger and a sandwich) and I was told that with the most spiteful attitude even. My daughter was even crying because she had waited for the food for so long. When we got the food we didn't get any form of apology or explanation in terms of what caused the hold up. Today was probably the most disappointing day ,I don't know why yall treat anyone that is non black ,better than actual black ppl,we greeted the lady named amanda, and she was standoffish, when me an my friends needed help with the machine to order,they were complaining, as if that's not they job.on top of that when we were waiting for our food ,we heard the workers in the back talking rudely about us ,they probably thought that my freind and I could not understand, but they were acting childish . It's disappointing because we knew that the lady that came before us was Indian and she was treated better ,but they treat they own people like we are at the bottom of the barrel. Utterly disappointed. The atmosphere was absolutely dead. Placed an order on the app to avoid waiting, yet I still had to wait more than 20 minutes in a store that had no more than 3 customers. The guy behind the register was honestly pathetic, didn't bother to greet me and you can see from his " don't care " attitude that he clearly doesn't want to be there and has better things to do. Not to mention he was in a derbonairs uniform.

Won't be going back anytime soon. 1/10. Would not recommend. Rather stop at the steers...
