Tonight my husband had the worst experience ever at Edenvale McDonald's, he went to try order food and they said they were offline, however manager was incompetent and has no experience in customer service because she was rude, disrespectful and always had something smart to say however this is the worst service we have ever gotten and we regret to announce that McDonald's has lost more customers in such a similar way, but because people are stubborn and always feel the need to prove a point which is not good staff had no idea what the customer care line for complaints are or they just felt they didn't want to distribute this however I am disgusted by McDonald's managerial behaviour because if this is the standard then I would rather stick to KFC because their service is always good and persistent ...Change your manager she is messing up because she can't handle customer queries, customer complaints, customer service to ensure customer is comfortable enough with you...However this was just my opinion my name is Bernard Chizi and I have to say I will not stand for any bad service in anyway shape or form...Respect is earned not given, please educate your employees on that because out of all the McDonald's around the area, Edenvale McDonald's is the worst when it comes to punctuality, lack of customer service, lack of building rapport with customers to understand what they want in...
Read moreEvery Mcdonalds makes me happy but this one has annoyed me at times, the time it takes to get your meal after you ordered it is not up to standard with other fast food outlets I have been to. I would expect a restaurant to take the time it took for Mcdonalds Edenvale to deliver a meal, and taking into mind this is a world renowned food franchise I am quite disappointed. I would like to see improvements in the quick delivery of food to customers.
On more than one occasion I have ordered ice cream or a mcflury and they have come with a response 'our machine is not working' or 'we run out AGAIN'. This lead to a disappointing drive back home for my little brother and I. Something that McDonald's is famous for should be available as often as possible, and I would understand if it was maybe once or twice but this has occurred numerous times.
I am however pleased with the hygiene of Mcdonalds all the staff wearing hair nets and cleaning the tables and floors thoroughly, is a very comforting feeling when eating somewhere else.
One other thing people take granted of is the air conditioning at mcdonalds is top notch. I have never felt cooler walking into a fast food.

Read moreUpdated review, I visited the restaurant after struggling with my app. A lady cleaning was very helpful and we tried remdeeming my points for a drink but it kept saying promotion unavailable the lady advised that they did have the drink I was requesting so she was not sure why it kept rejecting the code. She then told me to go to the cashier who might be able to assist. The cashier was busy at the back with orders, she then atrended to me but was very rushed and rude in my opinion, when I told her my issue she said I should use the self ordering function which we initially tried and failed. She proceeded to rush over to the machine and told me where to scan and it failed again, she dismissed me and just said it's not working, when I asked why she rudely said she did not know and left me standing at the machine.
Needless to say I didn't order anything feeling very disappointed with the service I was given!
Clearly the service has dropped since the last time...
