McDonald's Jean Ave — Restaurant in Gauteng

This eating outlet is very rather different when it comes to service. I don't normally get to see waiters or waitresses in a Mc Donalds restaurant but this time I came across a lady that was cleaning the front glass door as we walked into the shop. Later on as we sat to have our breakfast there she was again, coming to our table with that friendly look and smile on her face she asked if everything was fine with us. I replied to her and said yes all was well but then I wanted to ask if MacDonald's now had waitron staff and she said no she is not a waitress but a host.

Wow! So shebe also had the time or heart to explain to me the different activities that the host carries out as opposed to what a normal waitress would do in a restaurant.

I asked her why she was cleaning the doors earlier and her reply was that she just loves a clean place and on at the time the person who normally does the cleaning was not at work. DO NOT GO HERE! I believe they are byassing the tracking equipment to make their metrics look better. I ordered food, and within 5 minutes, it didn't show on the screen anymore, as if it was already collected. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food. The staff was really struggling to get our order together, constantly referring to a till slip, not to the screen like they are suppose to. But they couldn't look at the screen, because the order was already marked as collected. I believe its for the same reason they always tell you to go and park and wait for your food when using the drive through, or the stop and go like I like to call it. The toilet roll holder was broken and the rolls lating on the floor. Also, we were forced to exit through another door that we did not come in with, but the door is broken and can only open 1/4 of the way, had to literally squueze out. All this while the staff are just looking at you struggling to get through the door with food and kids. PATHETIC. Customer Service doesn't exist...

A nice place to chill with your friends. Especially on a late night out if you just want to hang around the parking lot and have a good time. There is even enough space on the inside to invite more than 10 people if you are very popular and have lots of friends. Or if you're a parent and want a smaal place for a kids party, then there is a small playground and a big table to sit around and enjoy a meal. It is safe at this drive-thru since there is a security guard always partoling close by. Even late at night there will be someone looking out for you. Thus ladies can feel safe if there is any problem that occurs. The food is the same as any other McDonald's. But they do place nice music during the day to make it more vibey than others. Service was basically the same as usual. All in all it's a clean McDonald's with alot of parking space, good music, playground, big table for friends, safe at night and clean...
