McDonald's Kyalami — Restaurant in Gauteng

I was quite disappointed and left quite angry last night.

I understand that loadshedding= super busy and and and. But this is what happened:

1. ordered our food- it was supposed to be 3x happy meal nuggets and chips 1x 10 piece nuggets only

MIssing 1x happy meal cheese burger

Screen on order isn’t working we didn’t see that the hamburger order wasn’t placed.

2)We drove through to pay, paid didn’t realise the hamburger meal wasn’t ordered. (Our bad)

3. Get to the pick up window- burger is missing. Ask the guy listen there’s been a mess up. Please can he order or something or help us sort it out…. Answer: No- while running around actually not giving a **. And actually not trying to help or anything.

4. irritated we now park- kids in the car, 1 Crying as their food didn’t arrive. Order.

5. this is what tipped me over. I try to tell the lady who was giving me my meal that that dude at the window needs to actually work on how he talks to people, COMPLETELY brushes me off to go find someone to take in a cash payment half way through my sentence.

I then called for the shift manager and expressed my frustration- but I don’t actually think that she understood how rude the people were and that they had total disregard for customer service.

Changing my review on this branch - wish I could give them a minus star Went there today to redeem a voucher on the app even though it clearly states quarter pounder with cheese I had three people telling that it’s a chilli cheese meal!!!! Even the manager was so rude and told me they know it’s a chillie cheese when it says quarter pounder - WHAT ever is going on - terrible service and no one even says sorry the staff is rude and obnoxious WILL never go there again the worst part is I called head office AND NO BOTHeREd to call me back - wow excellent service NOT

4 stars for my sons favourite toy store 😁staff is very child friendly - they happy to play with the kids always deliver with a smile even though we don’t eat much the coffee shop offering was great. Cappuccino was very welcome in this rain! Today the music in store was on repeat we heard the same song over and over and over and no one seemed to notice! The worst part is that it was a singing love song lullaby with quite a bit of high pitched wailing really wasn’t nice music for a kids restaurant! This branch is a disaster... 35minutes waiting while staff playing at the back and customers waiting for service... I asked for a refund they refused.. other customers came before us waiting and complaining but they also ignored... but staff are playing and laughing saying system was offline however drive thru customers were getting their orders..i asked for sit down i got take away in the end after one staff member tried to apologize..i wanted to leave the food there and then and let someone else eat it but i decided to accept their apology which i ended up regretting ..the food had a bad aftertaste as if the meat had gone bad, no surprise really as it is a very quiet branch, probably because most people have had a bad experience here .. no seriously Head Office intervention is needed here as there is no management or owner in sight hence why staff acting the way they do.. having my own businesses including restaurants they can offer for me to purchase this branch and I can show the Head Office how I can make it reach the sales it has the potential for by being a hands on owner and operator...obviously the current owner doesn't have a clue how to run...
